Chapter Eleven

Reader-chan's POV:

You went to the mall the day after you and Oli went to the amusement park. You had no idea why you went there, but something just made you get out of your house and go there.

"I wonder why I feel like something good's gonna happen." You mutter to yourself. "Will I meet another YouTuber? Will I see Yannie again? Will Oli be here?"

You said that unconsciously loud that bystanders were staring at you and whispering. Out of embarrassment, you distanced yourself and went into a store that sells anime stuff.

'Hmm...since I don't know what to do, I may as well buy something here.'

You looked around. You love anime, but nothing seemed to catch your eye. Your favorite anime series, (insert fav anime series here), had a lot of merchandize, so you decided to buy an action figure of the main character.

As you were about to leave, you noticed a small figure. It reminded you of something. You looked back and spotted a shelf full of Yandere anime charater merchandize. It had Mirai Nikki's Yuno Gasai, Baka to Test Shoukanjuu's Shouko Kirishma, and even Yandere Simulator's Yandere-chan. (Idk if an anime store would have this but I WISH!!! YANDERE FOREVER!!!)

But that wasn't the thing that caught your eye. It was a figurine of Kotonoha Katsura from School Days. You were reminded of Yannie. School Days was her favorite anime of all time! You decided to buy it and bring it home as a memento. You decided to stay a little while longer in case you see something else.

Your phone rang. You reached for it in your pocket. It was Yannie. She was calling you.

"Yannie?"

"Hello, (Y/N)."

"You...called..."

"You seem surprised."

"I...uh...I just... It's been so long since we've talked."

"Yeah, I know. I've got something to tell you."

"And what is that?"

"I...me and Drake... We broke up last week."

"Oh, Yan. That's terrible!"

"I know. He just wanted to break up with me and didn't even tell me why!"

You then heard her sobbing from the other line.

"Yan...I... Do you want me to come over?"

"Oh, no. Sorry, my house is a mess. It's kinda embarrassing."

"How about you come over at my place? I've got a surprise for you!"

"Haha, you don't have to do anything for me, (Y/N)."

"Aw, don't worry about it! How about we watch your favorite episode of School Days?"

"Well...alright... I'll come over tomorrow at three."

"Sounds great. See you!"

"Bye, bestie."

It was fast. She didn't even say sorry for not even bothering to talk to you for so long. It was like it didn't mean anything to her at all.

You shook the thought off. It was alright. Yannie was your best friend no matter what.

You then see a familiar lock of brown, curly hair, chubby cheeks, and amber eyes.

Oli.

He was going inside the same store!

You mentally yelled. He's a fan of anime? How come you didn't know this?

"Oli." You called out. He turned to look at you.

"Oh, hi, (Y/N). You're a fan of anime, too?" He seemed surprised.

"Yeah. What anime do you like to watch?"

"Eh, any actually. I haven't even started yet. I...just...I decided to watch because I want to impress a girl I like. She's an otaku."

'Please be me...'

You shook yourself off.

"Oh, what's her name?"

He chuckles. "Can't tell. It's a secret."

"Well, since you are new to the anime world, I may as well give you a suggestion," You walked around the store and came across a Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation manga. "Ooh, this is a good start!" You handed him the manga. "Otaku girls like mystery animes, so I suggest you give her that or something."

"You've read it?" He asks you. You nod.

"Yes, I've completed every episode and read every manga of that anime." You made a peace sign and waved it over your head. "Otaku for life!"

"Hmm...is there an anime you haven't watched or an action figure you don't have yet?"

"There is one." You thought for a while. "I've been starting to watch Shiki and I really love the girl with the Teto Kasane styled hair."

"You mean Megumi...what's her last name?"

"Aye, her. I really got depressed when she died and killed people."

He doesn't seem to be listening. He was thinking, his head looking towards the ceiling.

"Oli..." You called out. He went back to normal.

"Ah, sorry 'bout that, mate. I'd better be going now. Bye, (Y/N)!"

He leaves, making you pout. You really looked forward to spending time with Oli, but he seemed busy. You walked out of the anime store, disappointed. You really wanted to tell him. You could've yelled the words at him at that moment, but it didn't seem to be the right place to tell him.

'Oh, Oli...'

You thought of another girl holding Oli's hand, another girl kissing his cheek, another girl kissing his lips, and tears started to form in your eyes. If he could only be yours.

'I love you...so much. If you ever see the real me...please, don't ever leave me. I couldn't bear the thought of you not being with me and with another girl. I love you. Please...love me back...'

You left the mall, a tear escaping your eye.
