"One, two, three four..." with every letter, Shay would either change his footing or swordsmanship to act as the attack, and with every letter, you managed to block off his attack. It would become quicker and change every so often, yet you were always one step ahead of your beloved husband.
"Feel like sparring?" You smirked, sheathing your sword and tossing it to one side.
"Why not?" He challenged, sound the same.
The two of you loved a challenge. "Three, two, one!" The match had begun. Shay went first, but you blocked his attempt at a punch and kneed him in the gut. You felt bad hurting him, but it was only training, you had to remember.
You tried a jab in the ribs but he caught your hand, twisted you around and pushed you away with his foot. You were sent stumbling a few paces.
You were quick to turn around, striking Shay's diaphragm with your elbow. He slightly wheezed and for a second, you were worried that you had hurt him. A second to let your guard down was all it took for Shay to gave an advantage and trip you up. Instinctively, you clawed for something to hold on to, and that was the culprit who sent you falling on the floor in the first place.
Your back hit the ground, and Shay, aware of his own body weight, fell mostly on his arm, albeit an arm and a leg came down on top of you.
Shay moved to sit up, and hovered over you, strands of hair falling in front of his face. The blue sky and bright sun complimented the picture, and you couldn't help but internally swoon at the sight. He began to lean towards you, as you did him, and your noses touched, before your lips locked.
A hand came to caress your neck as fingers reached to tie into his hair. Your heart swelled and heat rushed to your cheeks. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, but as you both broke apart breathlessly, you confided in an Eskimo kiss to satisfy your heart's desire.
Shay chuckled lowly. "You are perfect in every way, sweetheart."
"And you are exactly the same," you replied, sitting up properly. "I don't know about you, but I would love to have some lunch."
"I was thinking the same thing." Shay stood up and offered his hand, which you gladly took, and headed to the homestead.
The birds chirped brightly, and the sun beamed through the trees of the woods that enclosed the homestead.
As two of you approached the door, you heard the hooves of a horse thudding against the ground. The door opened behind you. "You're just in time," Achilles noted, watching the horse slow to a trot as the person who came along with it got off. "I've got a mission for you."

The forest flowed under your horse's hooves, Shay's hands enclosed around your waist. Adrenaline clenched your muscles tightly, and made your knuckles turn white.
The horse turned to a walk and stopped by the stables, allowing you both to slide off. "What do you want to do now?" You asked Shay, flashing a smile.
"I would love to have something to eat, actually," he replied, looking at the setting horizon. An idea popped into your mind.
"I know what we can do!"

You found a hilltop behind the homestead and set down a soft blanket, spreading over the soft grass. You left your armour and weapons in your bedroom to change into some more comfortable clothing; a loose white blouse and some breeches. Shay went to do the same.
As he came around the corner, you had managed to gather food from the kitchen and set it down neatly in the middle, leaving space next to you. You were joined in the following moments.
The setting sun glazed over the horizon with a comforting hue, relaxing both parties' bodies. Shay leant on his arm which supported him from behind your back, giving the impression and comfort of a hug.
Both of your faces were lit up with a content grin as you lay, outstretched on the blanket. His gaze turned from the scenery to you. Feeling his gaze, your eyes met his. "I love you," he breathed lovingly, leaning down to give you a kiss on the lips. It was soft, and you felt yourself relax completely.
You broke apart. "I love you too." There wasn't much to say; the moment was perfect, and you couldn't have asked for more.
"This is... perfect."
END
Sorry that it's slightly shorter than usual; I haven't actually played Rogue yet. If you think it's rushed, then I won't blame you; it's hard writing a character you don't really know. However, I do hope you like what I have done and you'll tell me what you think. I'm free for another if you would like. It would have been longer but I didn't want to force anything in that would ruin it. I hope you like it! :)
That's all.
Stay Strong Guys,
