Laura's POV

I was scared. Terrified actually. I've only been dating Brian a few months, the only people who know we're dating are the guys. Now I'm sat here, my eyes full of tears, my heart pounding out of my chest and a positive pregnancy test in my hand. Fuck.

Thankfully Brian was at work. I was meant to work today but I called in sick.

You see, I had woken up this morning sprinting to the bathroom, throwing up everywhere. I felt bad because I was so loud that I woke Brian up, and he's grumpy when he gets woken up. But his sulk soon ended, when he walked in on me bent over the toilet in absolute agony.

He brushed my hair away from my face and placed a kiss to the side of my temple.

"Baby? You okay?" He asked, genuine concern in his voice. My throat hurt too much to speak so I simply nodded in return. His hand slid up my back and circled multiple times. His gentle touch making me feel better.

"You get back to bed baby...I'll call your work for you and tell them that you won't be in today." He softly spoke, before standing up and walking out of the room. I let out a sniffle, as I began to clean the repulsive mess I had made.

I slowly snail walked back into bed, curling up in a ball and cuddled into the covers. I couldn't sleep, but the simple resting of my eyes was all I needed.

A little while later, Brian returned and bent down to kiss my forehead.

"Stay warm baby. I'm off to work now, I'll be back around 5. Love you." He whispered, before he tip-toed out of the room and closed the door quietly.

I laid there in bed until around 11am. I was in so much pain; my throat throbbed, my stomach ached and my head was spinning. This was torture.

All morning I was thinking about what may have caused this sickness. I felt fine these past few nights, I thought, before it clicked. We, Brian and I, didn't use protection the last time we, well you know.

"Shit!" I yelled, as I jumped up from my bed and threw on the closest clothes I could find. I ran to the front door and grabbed my shoes, chucking them onto my feet. I reached for my car keys and ran out to my car. I drove to the local supermarket and sprinted down the aisles.

I turned down one aisle, not looking where I was going. I suddenly bumped into a figure and fell to the floor.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry-" The person spoke, before cutting themselves off. "L-Laura?" They asked. I lifted my head, until my gaze reached the figure's face. It was Sal. Oh, I thought, I forgot they were filming here today.

He held out his hand and helped me to my feet. He smiled a toothless grin at me, before asking the question I was dreading.

"What are you doing here? Bri never mentioned that you were coming to set today."

I let out an awkward laugh. I didn't know how to respond to him. I started stuttering, before I took a breath and began to speak.

"Just getting dinner for tonight. I forgot you guys were filming here today. Don't let me keep you, if you're starting to record." I smiled shyly.

"We haven't started filming yet, I was just getting some things for my break. Hey, I'll let Bri know you were here-"

"No!" I yelled, "No, er, don't tell him. Please. The dinner is a surprise." I sheepishly added. Sal nodded and said goodbye.

I waited until Sal had left the aisle, before grabbing a pregnancy test from the shelf and taking it to the checkout.

**

As I returned home, I ran to the bathroom and immediately opened the package. I scanned through the instructions and got ready to take the test.

Whilst waiting for the results to appear upon the stick, I paced back and forth. My breath becoming short, as the time where I'd find out was drawing nearer.

Well, now we're back to where this story started. Me sobbing, whilst holding a positive pregnancy test.

I heard the front door close and the sound of shoes being kicked off.

"Baby?" I heard the voice call, as he walked throughout the house. "We wrapped up early today, so I got to come home early." Brian called.

I could hear him searching the entire house, before I heard a knock at the door.

"Laura? Is everything okay?" He asked. I tried to hide the fact that I was crying, but to no avail. I let out a sob and that caused Brian to panic. "Baby, I'm coming in." He said, before unlocking the door and stumbling in. His sweet face dropped to the floor. His eyes shifted between my eyes and the test in my hand.

I started to bawl my eyes out. Brian lunged forward and embraced me tightly in his arms.

"Shh baby, it's okay." He comforted, trying to get my tears to stop. He pulled away slightly and cupped my face with his hands. Brian stroked his thumb across my cheek to wipe away my free-falling tears.

I let out a shaky breath. I wanted to plan what I wanted to say but I was taking too long and I couldn't make Brian wait any longer for an explanation.

"I-I'm pregnant." I dropped my head in shame. Brian let out a sigh, before placing a finger under my chin and pulling my face up so my eyes met with his deep chocolate brown ones.

"Don't worry," he smiled, "we've got this! You're going to be a great mother to my child...OUR child."

"But Bri-" I said, before he interrupted.

"Laura. I'm serious. So what if we've only been dating a few months. I knew from the moment I saw you, that you'd be the one I'd marry. I know this is a shock, but hey, it's not like me to do anything in order." He smiled, trying to make me laugh.

I leant in and lightly kissed his nose and locked my eyes with his.

"Brian, I love you so much. You always know what to say to make things better." A tear rolled down my cheek. Brian leant his head down and kissed the tear away. He pressed his forehead against mine, before saying;

"I love you too, my beautiful and gorgeous girl."
