Linden was driving back to his home. He looked out of the window's surrounding him as his car made its way onto the main road. All the house and shops on the street were decorated for Christmas with pine garland, red bows, and Christmas trees. The roads were so decorated, and everything looked so beautiful. In fact, he thought he was in a completely new world as it started to snow again.

As he passed the street near, he stopped his car to watch the snow fall amidst the streetlights. Christmas that year was different than any other Christmas he ever had before because he got a chance to meet that wonderful girl. A big smile split his face at the mere thought of Ivy.

It was pretty dang cute. Everything she did was crazy. Normally Linden hated cute girls, but with Ivy, it was just part of her charm. He was just wondering how many times Ivy has embarrassed herself like that but that was what of her made him fall in love with her.

He wondered what he would say to her if he ever met her again. Then he feared if he would actually ever meet her again. "We should have taken a photo," Linden thought in his mind as he rubbed a hand over his face.

Linden checked the time on his mobile phone; it was 2:43 am and Christmas, so he got back into his car and drove home. It was on two minutes away.

Linden unlocked the front door and turned on the inside lights, and then he closed the doors carefully behind him, not making any noise.

But there was somebody who had a very good hearing capabilities; his dog Breezier came running to him. It panted and wagged its tail frantically and soon breezier jumped all over him, licking him over the face and wagging its tail in delight.

Linden shushed him before Breezier could bark. He loved his dog but his was about to create great problem for him. "Let go and sleep buddy!"

The dog followed him up the stairs to his room, he entered his room, Linden shut the door, removed his jacket and then he kicked out his shoes before plopping on his bed. Looking around he glanced at Breezier, who was sitting on the small couch, and his eyes blazing with excitement. Like Breezier knew his master had something to share.

Linden huffed a small laugh and said, "I meet a girl." soon he heard, breezier started making a soft, almost purring sound in his throat showing his excitement. Then he had begun to pant, the excited kind of pant, eyes firmly fixed on him as Breezier waited for more details.

"Good night Breeze," He said and reached up to turn off the reading lamp, but before he could turn down the light, Breezier jumped up and licked Linden right on his face. Linden squealed and began to laugh as Breezier once again jumped over him, tickling him and licked him on the face, slobbering all over him. Linden began to laugh more, took breezier's head in his hands, ran his hands through the fur around the dog's face, and tousled his ears. "Stop licking me on my face, silly," Linden said rubbing the slobber off his face with the back of his hand.

Breezier stopped licking immediately, lifted his head and started scanning his face. "Aw! Breeze don't worry, I will tell you the full story tomorrow." Linden petted his head and stroked his neck affectionately.

"Now sleep and let me sleep," Breezier made a keening noise in his throat as he leaped off the bed and ran toward the couch and burrowed himself under the fleece blankets, whining what sounded like a protest. His was head resting between his two front paws. He looked up imploringly at Linden for the last time before shutting his eyes tight, pretending to sleep. Linden rolled his eyes as a little smile played around his lips and he looked fondly at Breezier.

He reached out to switch off the bed-light and crawled to the other side of the bed and pulled the duvet higher over him. Linden he checked the watch on his mobile one last time it 3:25 am so he tried to get himself comfortable. He thought maybe he could finally get some deserved sleep.

As Linden closed his eyes, a picture of Ivy appeared before him. So Reaching across to the bedside table, he got his phone, smiled as he saved the new contact information under "unknown". He was about to type Ivy but there was something special about unknown.

He remembered was a how tipsy and delightful she was, and the way made him smile each time she tried to speak. Maybe it was the way she slurred her words. When Ivy batted her dark lashes, gazing down at him. He could still sense the power of her innocent giggled upon him and big tear drops that oozed out of her wide eyes.

Then the thought of her kissing him suddenly popped into his head and occupied his mind as he tried not to think of it. He might never meet her, at least for now these thoughts were wastage. Then a question came into his mind how often does she drunk dial strangers like this, does she often do this. Then Linden decided that he didn't want to think about it—and then felt ashamed of himself for thinking like that.

As Linden continued to think on these things his eyes began to flutter, blink, and finally close as he drifted to sleep.
