"What's up?" I ask
"I don't think you should mess with Odell" he responds
"J we weren't really--"
"I figured you weren't, but still" he cuts me off
"What are you saying Jarvis?" I ask annoyed
"He's known to be a player, don't let em fool you. I'm just looking out for you." he answers
"I've known him for less than 24 hours J chill, and don't insult my character like that. All we did was chill for a little bit and you introduced me to him in the first place?!"
"I know but--"
I cut him off "don't jump to conclusions"
"Alright, alright what are you up to now?" he asks
"I'm going to go see how things are going at my store, I'll talk to you later" I hang up

"Heyyyyyy Mel Mel" I'm greeted by not only my fellow business partners, but best friends Shannon, Heather and Jessica

They were a huge help in getting my boutique this far and they deserve as much credit

"SO! Good news!" Shannon says excited

"Spill" I say curious

"We've been invited to New York Fashion Week!!!"

"You're lying" I respond dumbfounded

"Nope" Heather chimes in

"Well we have A LOT to do to prepare" I say excited

"Yep, models, which pieces to showcase" Jessica adds

"We can't get started tomorrow morning? I'm really tired." I suggest

"How was it meeting up with Jarvis?" Heather asks

"Fun, I met his friend Odell"

"Beckham?" Shannon asks

"Junior" I laugh

"He's so hot" Jessica admits

I laugh "I guess"

"So what did you guys do?" she asks

"Lunch and then he invited me inside his house, well mansion, when I dropped him off"

"SERIOUSLY? Did you guys--"

"No Jess, I wasn't even there that long" I laugh "Actually he's calling me right now" I say walking away and they all follow

Covering the speaker I answer

"You busy right now?" he asks
"Ummm not exactly" I respond curious
"Well Juice and I are going to the gym, you comin?" he asks
"It's almost midnight and shouldn't you be resting for the game tomorrow?" I ask
"Gotta be as prepared as can be, you in or out?" he asks again
"Well sense you want me to go so bad..." I joke
"Feelin yourself huh?" he jokes back
"No but you are"
"Can't deny that" he admits
"Alright, well pick me up..."
"Text me the addie"
"Alright, see you soon" I hang up

"Dang you're blushing" Heather says

"I'll catch up with you guys tomorrow" I say walking out

"Be safe" Shannon says before I close the door

"Be there in five" Odell texts back
"I'll be ready😊" I respond

"You look cute" Odell says as I get into his Rolls Royce

"Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself" I respond

On our way to the gym we blast the radio and let the top down

"Ayeeeee what's up best friend" Jarvis says pulling me into a hug

"You nervous?" I ask him

"Nah, Dell and I always come here and throw for about an hour"

"You guys love football" I say sitting on one of the bleachers

They start playing and I'm just sitting on my phone

"Aye Mel, get an action shot of me" Odell says waving me over

"The selfie queen can do that I'm sure" Jarvis jokes

"Here Odell" I say handing him his phone back and he starts dancing

"Imma post this"

"Give me photo creds" I laugh

"Alright, oooooh I like this pic" Odell says showing me one of the selfies on my instagram

"Thanks" I blush

He keeps making different faces and I know he's scrolling through my insta

"Odell, get off my page" I laugh sitting next to him

"Why I like these pics, especially this one" he winks showing me another one

"Ayeeee lovebirds, we should probably get going it's 1:38A.M" Jarvis chimes in

The drive back to my house was silent, but a peaceful silence

"Alright, this is your stop ma'am" Odell says unlocking my door

"See you tomorrow" I smile

"Need me to walk you in?" Odell asks concerned

"I'm okay, thanks though" I respond shutting the door

"Night Mel" Odell says as he speeds off
