"You know what that means?" he says smirking
"I'm kind of nervous to find out" I laugh
"You can spend the night" Odell says playing with my shorts
I completely forget about what Odell said when I receive a text message from the last person I want to hear from

Me: Number one I'm not/never will be your baby, number two you may not ever come over. Please, don't text/call me anymore Cameron.
DONOTANSWER: Mel, I know I messed up a lot! Just want you to give me one last chance, I'd do anything to see you.
Odell interrupts my thoughts by saying "Must be texting someone important"
"Huh? No, just...business...sorry what'd you say?" I improvise
"It's not important" he says sitting up and I turn my phone so he can't see the messages
"Who are you texting?" he asks bluntly
"It's private" I respond
He shakes his head and mumbles "I should've known"
"Known what?" I ask putting my phone down
"You're just like the rest of em" he responds
"Are you serious Odell?! First, I don't have to tell you who I'm texting, I don't owe you that. Second, it is a private matter that I'm not comfortable discussing"
"So you receiving a text saying baby I miss you can I come over while you're here with me is a private matter?"
"You were reading my messages?!" I almost yell
"You're laying right next to me, I can't miss it"
"Odell you have no idea, this is definitely not what you're accusing me of, it's not like you and I are in a relationship or anything" I respond frustrated
"We definitely aren't now" he says nonchalantly
Even more annoyed I walk towards the door realizing I didn't drive myself here
"Take me home"
"Why don't you have the guy you were texting pick you up" Odell answers
"Never mind, I'll walk" I say storming out and Odell doesn't follow
I walked down the hill and out the gate and waited for uber
