Jarvis put his arm around my shoulder and said "He'll get over it"

I started crying into his chest and asked him "Am I doing the right thing?"

"Just do what makes you happy Mel"

"Are you mad?"

"I'm not mad, I just don't think Cameron has good intentions."

"He's different" I muttered wiping my face off

"Just think about everything overall Melanie, not just these past two weeks. You've been down this road before."

I didn't respond because, I knew he was right

"I have to check on some things at home, I'll talk to you tomorrow before you leave" he said hugging me goodbye

Before he shut the door, he said "if you leave"

As soon as I walked back up to my room I started packing again

I was going to take majority of my stuff, but a fresh start requires as little of the past as possible

I found the jersey Odell gave me in the midst of all my clothes

I packed it away because I needed something to remember him by

Today was the day and I hope I don't regret this decision

I was expecting a text or call from Odell but there was only a couple from Jarvis and Heather

I haven't told my brothers that I'm moving yet, but they'll find out soon enough

I spent the rest of the day cleaning out my house

Every hour that elapsed this became more surreal

Cameron is stopping by now to help me with some of my boxes

"I thought you said you weren't bringing much" Cam sounded irritated as he was dragging my last suitcase

"I'm a girl, I have a lot of stuff" I smiled as he picked me up

"I'm excited for our future"

"It's going to be so different for me" I said as he put me down

"Well, I'm going to have my driver take this over and I'll meet you there in one hour" as he kissed my forehead goodbye I stood up and walked around my house

I was going to miss living here

For the rest of the 40 minutes I sat on my couch, staring at the wall

Contemplating if this was the right decision

As I was walking through the airport I kept feeling like I was doing the wrong thing

Cameron just texted to me that he was just waiting on me and then we can takeoff

I stopped to grab a smoothie before I headed outside and I heard faint screaming and running

I continued walking outside to meet Cameron until I was roughly turned around by my shoulder

I saw a bunch of paparazzi and fans following the guy that wouldn't leave my mind

He got down onto his right knee and I dropped everything I was holding

"Melanie" Odell started and pulled the ring out of his pocket "you told me you wanted a diamond in the shape of a heart with our names engraved before we went to California"

At this point I was crying because this was completely unexpected

I saw Ben recording this in the crowd and the smile Jarvis had on his face could be seen from miles away

"I know we've only known each other for about two months now and I've already messed up a lot. But I know I can't treat you better...just say yes and I'll show you"

Everyone started chanting say yes and there was so many phones and flashes I felt like I was going to pass out

Odell grabbed my hand and said "Will you marry me?"

Everything was moving in slow motion and I saw Cameron approaching us

I already knew my decision, so I don't know what I was waiting for

I threw Cameron's ring in his direction and extending my hand towards Odell

His face lit up and everyone started cheering

I got the new beginning I wanted, a blank page

Odell stood up and leaned in to kiss me until Cameron shoved him back

I stood in between him as Cameron threw his fist up

Odell tried to push me out the way, but it was too late

I was knocked out and I hit my head on a pole, everything went blank
