When Kelsey's parents are killed in a car crash, her and her sister are left alone with no surviving relatives. With no one to care for them, Kelsey and her sister Savannah are separated and put up for adoption. It isn't long until 14 year old Savannah is adopted, leaving 16 year old Kelsey alone.

That is, until Kelsey's adopted by the Montgomery family. Mrs. Montgomery picks up Kelsey from the adoption shelter and into her home, but there's a problem.

The 4 boys already living with her.
