Shizuo had only heard stories of that monstrous wolf. How he would tear people apart, destroy their minds. He had heard the stories about the people they found hung in the woods, that's why he never went in there. The blond thought about this as he stared down that beast. Its demon red eyes flaring with malicious intent. Its raven black fur shined when small patches of sunlight were able to snake through the densely wooded trees. Something that the stories neglected to mention however, was that the wolf was slim and slanky. It wasnt beast sized by any means, looked more like a slippery bastard than killing machine. Shizuo had punched hunters bigger than this "monsterous" wolf into orbit.

The two stared eachother down, the wolf from his respected position peeking out behind a tree, while Shizuo stood on the gravel path that lead through the treacherous woods. The wolf's stare felt heavy to the blond, like it was reading his very soul. Shizuo didn't like it, he didn't like it at all.

"You piss me off." he said without much thought.

The wolf blinked it's vermilion orbs, a whimsical chuckle bubbled from his throat. Shizuo could feel the heat in his belly rise with each sound that escaped the wolf's lips.

"That's a new one. Usually I get, oh please dont eat me! Or I've come to slay you beast!" the wolf impersonated his previous guests with a mocking tone, he even used dramatic arm movements to express each statement.

Shizuo felt his eyes narrow, the familiar rage boil more and more, till it almost felt like he'd puke from it.

The wolf skipped out from behind the tree, a playful glint shown in those demon eyes while a devilish smirk played his lips.

"But that's what makes humans so interesting!~" he ventured closer to the blond, but didnt touch the gravel path. "You seem quite interesting~ what's your name?" he purred.

Every word dripped venom, yet sounded so sweet. Shizuo thought to himself, he could say anything with that voice and I'd believe it. In that moment Shizuo realized that he was in danger, but his lips were forming words before his mind could comprehend them.

"Names Shizuo Heiwajima," he was screwed. The wolf's smirk widened. "What's yours?"

"Izaya. Izaya Orihara~ at your service, Shizu-chan." the raven bowed in a playful, more than respectful, way.

Definetly screwed.

The blond snapped. Not a moment later he was ripping up a tree and hurling it at the wolf.

"Don't call me that you fleabag!!!"

The tree was being swung at the raven, much like a bat at a baseball. The wolf jumped effortlessly out of the way and nack into the the cover of the trees. With the wolf out of sight Shizuo could finally realize what he'd done.

'shit...I did it again' the blond looked around desperately for the raven, if the slippery flea had been killed- no. Shizuo didn't want to think about killing someone. Just when Shizuo was ready to call out to him-

Applause.

"Wow! That was quite impressive Shizu-chan!~ looks like I'm not the only monster in this neck of the woods."

Shizuo released the breath he had been holding prisoner a bit to long. At least he didn't kill anyone, even if Izaya was an annoying fleabag.

"I'm not a monster!"

"Oh? Your trying to tell me your human? I know about humans, their not that strong." Shizuo was used to this, but it still pissed him up! "Don't try to impersonate a human." finished the wolf, a bit more bite embeded in those that words.

The pair glared at eachother a moment, but Izaya broke away first. His eyes trailed down Shizuo's figure. It was a slow moving gaze, like the wolf was drinking up every curve and pronunciation of the blond's body. Shizuo almost felt heat blossom on his cheeks when Izaya's gaze traveled lower and lower to uncomfortable territory.

"Eyes are up here!" Shizuo exclaimed, not liking the slight crack in his voice.

Izaya laughed.

"Just taking in the sight of my beloved humans~"

Shizuo didn't like this guy. Not one bit. Right when the blond parted his lips to speak again the raven cut him off.

"Whats with the red cape?" he said curiously, gesturing to the red hood draped over the blond's shoulders.

Caught of guard by the drastic change in the wolf Shizuo found himself responding.

"It was a gift, from my brother."

Izaya let the side of his lips twitch unevenly, leaving the beginnings of a smirk.

"Are humans nowadays into gaudy bright red capes?"

The blond couldn't help the soft chuckle that left his throat.

"Not really. But it was a gift, so it's important to me."

The wolf hummed in acknowledgment before looking down the path.

"By any chance are you visiting someone?" Izaya asked suddenly.

Taken aback at first the blond nodded.  Before the raven to meddle further with his day Shizuo cut the raven off.

"Don't bother askin who. It's none of your business." finished the blond, a confidant nod at the end.

The wolf hummed again and smirked.

"Cya round then, Shizu-chan~" with that the wolf scampered off into the woods.

A growl bubbled from Shizuo's throat at the dumb nickname. He really didn't like this wolf. A tad angrier than he was when he set out, the blond continued his journey to the house in the woods.

Gripping the basket in his hand Shizuo knocked on the door to a small cottage. He read the sign 'Grandmother's house' and chuckled. Not but a moment later the door swung open revealing the person he'd set out to visit.

"Hey, Shinra."

The pervert doctor smiled.

"Been expecting you, Little Red~"
