My Brother's Best Friend

I woke up and did my daily routine. I put on a dark blue shirt and jeans. I put my hair in a ponytail and covered my freckles. I grabbed my phone and texted Amir.

Me: Good morning

Amirkat: Good morning stranger

Me: How was your weekend?

Amirkat: Good, yours?

Me: Okay

Amirkat: We should do something

Me: Like what?

Amirkat: What time do you have lunch?

Me: 11:40

Amirkat: Well wanna go to Friday's?

Me: Sure.

Amirkat: Okay I'll pick you up

Me: K

I walked downstairs and greeted the guys. They greeted me and Carter walked downstairs. We left and headed to school. Julian had his arm around me and I got so happy. We got to school and got out. The girls walked over  and greeted us. "I'm not gonna be at lunch." I said. "Why not?" Quinn asked.

"I'm going to lunch with Amir." I said. "Who's Amir?" Julian asked. "Amir Bailor?" Quinn said and I nodded. "No you're not!" Carter snapped. "I already made plans." I said. "Too bad." He said. "When did you meet him?" Julian asked. "At the Halloween party." I said.

"Come on." Harper said pulling me away. We walked to class and sat down. "Be lucky I pulled you away before you got killed." She said. "Thanks." I said. "Did you see Carter's and Julian's face?" Quinn asked. "That was scary." Harper said and we chuckled. Brittany walked in and smirked.

"How was lunch yesterday?" She said. "Amazing, I ate it right next to your man." I said. "No, he doesn't like ugly, pitiful girls." She said. "That's probably why he dumped you." I said. "At least I got with him, and imma get him back." She said then walked away. "She's delusional." Harper said and we laughed. I still wanna know why she hates me.

Its lunch time and I walked out of school to see Amir leaned against his Porsche. "Hey." He said. "Hey." I smiled. "You ready?" He asked. I nodded and he opened the passenger's side door. I slid in and he closed it. He got in then drove off. "Have you ever been to friday's?" He asked glancing at me.

"No, I've only been to like three American restaurants." I said. "Oh wow." He said. "Yeah, one day I'm gonna make you a traditional Irish lunch." I said. "I can't wait." He smiled then continued driving.

We pulled up at friday's and got out. He opened the door and we walked in. "Table for two." Amir said. The boy nodded and leaded us to a booth. We sat down and he handed us menus. I opened mine started looking. "See anything you like?" He asked and I shook my head. "What about you?" I replied. "Uh, I don't know its either between the burger or chicken tenders." He said. "I may get the burger." I replied.

"Hi I'm Claire and I'll be your waitress today, can I start you guys off with a drink?" She asked. "I'll have a lemonade." I said. "I'll have a coke." Amir said and she nodded. "Are y'all ready to order?" She asked. "Yeah, she'll have the blt and I'll have the chicken tenders." He said. She nodded, wrote it down then walked away.

"So, you have a boyfriend?" Amir asked. "Uh, yeah." I said. "Oh cool." He said. "You got a girl?" I asked. "No, had a girl but she cheated on me with this guy from your school." He said. "Who?" I asked. "I don't know if you know them but the girl was Brittany and the guy was Julian." He said. I gaped and shook my head. "Wow." I said. "I know right, I was in love with her, I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her but she cheated." He sighed. "She wasn't worth your love." I said. "I know that now." He replied.

"So, why did you come up to me at the party?" I asked. "Because you looked pretty and lonely." He said and I chuckled. The waitress came back and put our drinks down. We thanked her and continued talking.

Once class ended I grabbed my things and headed out. Lunch was amazing. That burger was so good and Amir is so funny. I got to the parking lot and met up the girls. I guess the guys have football practice. "Hey." I said. "Sup." They said. "How was lunch?" Quinn asked. "Good, I have a great burger." I said. "Cool, did he try anything?" Harper asked. "No, I told him I have a boyfriend." I said and they nodded. "We have to wait for the guys." Quinn said. I nodded and we got in her car. We started talking about Los Angeles.

About an hour later the boys walked over. "Y'all waited up." Carter smiled then kissed Quinn's cheek. I wish I could kiss Julian. Speaking of Julian, where is he? "Sinead go get the tart." Ryan said. I chuckled and walked towards the field. I looked around and saw him.

I wanna surprise him. I tip toed over to him and jumped on his back. "Hey." I said kissing his cheek. "Hey babe." He smiled. I hopped down and kissed him. "They're waiting." I said. He nodded and we walked back to everyone. "Let's go." Carter said. He kissed Quinn then we got in the car. 

He drove off and I sung along to chained to the rhythm. "Sinead did Amir try anything on you?" Ryan asked. "No." I said. "He didn't touch you?" Adrian asked. "No." I said. "Good." Carter said and I rolled my eyes. He's really overprotective. We got home and I walked into my room. I closed my door then locked it. I put my things down then changed. I climbed in bed and started watching the 100 on Netflix. I'm exhausted.
