"I had a feeling it'd be you."

I was still crying, but I had majorly calmed down.

"My last puppet... You have a visitor."

I looked up to see Maddie in a soundproof container.

My eyes widened.

"Maddie! Don't you dare hurt her!"

"Oh, don't worry, darling, she's not the one getting hurt. For now, at least."

"W-what do you mean?"

I heard guns cocking. "No." I realized.

"You can't do this to me! I won!"

"Don't worry, you and Maddie have already seen too much. I hope you find each other in heaven. If you two are lucky enough to get there." He chuckled.

A gunshot fired and hit me straight in the heart.

The last thing I saw before everything faded away was Maddie falling to her knees, crying and screaming.

"My sweet little Maddie. How does it feel?" The abductor said.

"W-what?" She was shaking, just having to be forced to watch her best friend die right in front of her eyes.

"How does it feel?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, 'HOW DOES IT FEEL?' HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HAVE SOMEONE THAT YOU SEE AS A SISTER GET SHOT IN FRONT OF YOU? IT FEELS GREAT, SIR! JUST SPLENDID!"

She cried and cried.

"Well, why don't you join her?"

"W-what?"

A gun cocked.

"Y-you're going to kill me?"

"Wow, slow learner."

The abductor pulled the trigger.

"Ah, much better."
