Light(poem)

It was dark and cold.
The hole was just pitch black.
No people,
no nature,
just endless darkness.
But then out of no where there was a light.
A light that had not been there before.
What was the bright light?

Over time the light grew,
bringing with it,
love and harmony.
It lit up the hole,
making grass grow, flowers bloom and animals awaken.
The light grew and grew,
until one day there was just light.

The light finally reached me.
It awakened me from my sleep.
Who was I?

In time I would remember who I am.
For now I will just embrace  this light.
I have awakened to become a new.
Spreading kindness, happiness and demolishing the sad too.
I maybe was a sad soul in my past.
But now I have found joy.

I am just like a fountain without a name.
I flow and create beauty for people.
I show them their true selves and wash away their tears.
Time and time,
I wonder who I want to be?
It is just a question lingering.

For now I am the light.
The light that destroys darkness and brings forth joy.
That is who I am.
