Man and nature (part 2)

Mother Nature saw this and tried to speak to the humans.
Sadly they did not listen.
She told them she would forgive them for their crimes.
The humans laughed.
Mother Nature became angry.
She swore vengeance for her land.

One day she cast a spell on the land.
She had said the land would crumble piece by piece and take the humans with it.
And so it did.
It died a slow death.
The humans did not realise anything.
By the time they realised what was happening it was too late.

The humans cried out to Mother Nature.
They begged for forgiveness.
Mother Nature just laughed.

The land had breathed its final breath then...
Humankind missed its chance to live in peace with nature.
They were enemies to the bitter end.
