who are you?

you are not your name,

your age, height, or gender.

you are not your scars,

physical, mental, or emotional.

you are not some label.

you are your favourite books,

you are the song stuck in your head,

you are your thoughts,

your dreams, your fears.

you are your family,

your friends, your enemies.

you are a thousand things,

but people see the million things you are not.

you are not him, her,

or me.

you are the path you decide to take.

you are who You choose to be.
