I wish I was a child again.
No, not 13 or 10.
More like five or six.
Little children are so happy.
They always have smiles on their face.
They see the good in everyone and everything, the silver lining.
They don't think, they feel.
They have no cares in the world.
They do not know what backstabber means.
Or betrayal.
Or lies, guilt, hate, swearing,
and depression.
They wish they can be older.
But we wish we can be younger.
We don't know what happy means.
We constantly have weights on our shoulders,
and frowns are always apparent.
We don't feel.
We know what hate is.
And lies, treachery, and everything bad in the world;
Especially depression.
I wish I was like a child.
But mostly,
I wish I knew how to be happy again.
