"I hope you're happy now" Y/n hissed at the Bat of Gotham who stood tall in front of her. His evil plan worked, crime rate in Gotham went incredibly low after the Joker got his heart broken. He hadn't committed any single crime after the night in restaurant with y/n and Harry. He didn't even make an appearance, didn't even visit his clubs. He just locked himself in the penthouse.
It was the deal Batman made with y/n. He told her they were going to use deadly force on the Joker this time, they wouldn't stop until they take down the Clown Prince of Crime, but there was still a way y/n could do to save J. If she somehow made the Joker lay low, Batman promised they will leave him alone. Y/n knew there was no way she could talk Joker out of what he was doing every day. Leaving him was the only way to save his own life.
"I know how hard this is for you. I appreciate you doing it, y/n"
"No, keep your fake thank you to yourself. I didn't do it for the you, or the city, or anything. I do it for him" Y/n hissed "I hope you keep your promise"
"As long as he stayed low, no harm will come to him. I promise you that"
"You'd better keep it" Y/n looked to the side of the dark alleyway where they were having a conversation in, but as she looked back, the Bat was nowhere to be seen.

Life with Harry was everything opposite to the Joker. He was gentle, very gentle. She needed time to get used to these new feeling, having someone being so soft and gentle towards her. With J it was always rough and hard. She should be happy that she finally found someone who treated her right, someone who never hit her or yelled at her. But why did she feel so empty. Maybe the only problem was that he wasn't J.
"Y/n?..." Harry asked with concern in his voice. He could see y/n wasn't happy. She was absentminded all the time, she always stared out the window at nothingness. Something was bothering her mind. Y/n looked at Harry. "Are you okay?" He asked "I'm fine" She lied. Harry let out a slight chuckle "You know you're not a good liar, y/n" Another thing Harry and Joker had in common, beside mulitple tattoos, these guys knew when she lied. Y/n hold her hands up in surrender "Fine. I miss him" She said, her voice was soft "I know" Harry said "You still love him, I can see it in your eyes. Y/n, the way he looked at you... that night, he really love you. I... I never thought someone could look at a girl with such love in their eyes, I definitely didn't expect it to come from the Joker, out of all people, but when I saw it, I knew it, he really loves you. He made mistake, but whether he deserve a second chance or not, it was all up to you. Follow your heart, do what makes you happy" It was as if Harry could read her mind, he knew how she felt towards J, but y/n just didn't knew about the "Joker loves her" part

"You think... you think he really loves me?"

Hazz chuckled "Y/n, if he didn't love you, he'd have blew my brain out that night. Now... what's bothering you" He could tell, there was still something in her mind. So y/n sighed, she had been keeping it all for herself for so long, speaking it out loud might made her feel a bit better, besides, Harry was a good listener, he always understood, and he never judged. "I can't come back to him because I made a deal" Y/n blurred out. Harry seemed like he didn't follow so y/n explained the details "Batman came to me, he said the government and police will no longer take it easy on J, not that they were before but this time, they got all the trained SWAT, weapons, everything. They planned to take him down, and he said I should be worried now. I wanted to think nothing could take J down, but still I was his girlfriend. If someone were to say something like this to you about the people you care for, you couldn't help but get worried. Anyway, Bat told me if I could somehow made Joker lay low, stop with all the chaos he had been causing, they will leave him alone. I knew there was no way I could talk him out of doing what he loves. The only way was that if I left, he might lost desire in causing mayhem, I was right. It was the only way to safe him. It was all for him. Oh my God, H, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do this to you... to dragged you in this" Even though y/n did feel better after letting it all out, she still felt that she lied to Harry. Well, technically, she didn't, she just didn't tell him at first, but she still felt bad about it. Instead of mad at her, Harry gave her a soft reassuring smile "I understand you. He's lucky to have you"
