That say it's what you make, I say it's up to fate. It's woven in my soul. I need to let you go.
Your eyes, they shine so bright. I wanna save the light. I can't escape this now, unless you show me how.

The Joker looked down at the lifeless body lying in the pool of blood on his feet. The bloody knife still in his hand. As he looked down at her, it was until now that he realized what he had done. He had finally lost it, lost to the bloodthirsty beasts inside him, and killed his own blood, his own daughter, his little Georgia Rose. Poor girl was so young. She was only five and now, her life had to come to an end by the hand of her own father. The room was quiet. Not a single sound except for his breathing and the beating of his heart, the heart that was consumed by demons. Though, despite the silence filled the atmosphere, in the clown's heart was ear-piercing scream by the voices inside his head look what you've done, you monster. He lost track of time of how long he had been standing there over his daughter's body. On the day she was born, he vowed he'd protect her from the world. Yet, it was proved he failed to protect her from himself. So he just stood there, letting the sorrow devoured him alive. A single drop of tear finally ran down his glossy eye, followed by another and another. He let them fall. He wouldn't wipe them away. The salty liquid landed on Georgia Rose's body on his feet. Maybe this way, she'd know her father was sorry, that the excruciating pain he was in was his punishment for taking her life away, for not being able to keep his promise to shelter her.
He knew his life was never meant for a child. He knew it since the beginning. Stupid him. He should've listened to that little part of sanity he had left when it screamed at him a child was a bad idea. Why couldn't he just listen to it?! If only he listened, this wouldn't have happened. Georgia Rose would never born, and he'd never be able to hurt her. If he didn't lose himself in the temporary happiness five years ago, he wouldn't be so drown in deep sadness now.
Y/n, Georgia Rose's mother. She was the center of Joker's universe. Now, his one and only worst fear was that one day, the devil dwelling within him would evoke again, and in turn out, he'd kill the only person he loved. He couldn't live without her. What if one day, the monster won and he killed her? The thought alone drove the mad man even more insane than he already was. After got rid of his daughter's body, he made his way to the bathroom, watched the child's blood out of his hands and washed his face, hoping the water would clear his mind at least a little. As he looked at found himself staring at his own reflection in the mirror, all the Joker could see was the demons trying to crawl out of him, trying to taste more blood it scared him they would win again.

He wanna hide the truth. He wanna shelter her, but with the beast inside, there was no way they could hide. All the rest of his crimes didn't come close to the look on y/n's face when he told her the sin he had committed as she tried to approach him. Y/n stopped in her track, feeling like all the breath had been sucked out of her body "I killed her, y/n. She's dead. I killed her, just like how I killed everyone else" The Joker stated. His low and dark, yet cracked. The clown sat on the floor against wall in the far corner of the pitch dark room. Even with the lack of light, he could still see the tears flames in y/n's eyes as she slowly shook her head in deny. Though they couldn't escape the ugly truth. Neither of them said a word, for a moment, the only sounds could be heard was her quietly sobs and the sound of her heart broke in pieces "J, baby, it's okay. We'll get through it together, okay" Y/n finally spoke and started to get closer to him again "Don't!" Joker suddenly yelled, and it made her flinched. Y/n stopped after two steps closer to the love of her life "Don't get too close" The Joker warned. He couldn't trust himself. He could kill her before he could even realize what he was doing. He needed to let her go. This was all for her "Go... away" "No, J, please, let me help you" "I said go!!" He yelled again. Y/n almost jumped out of her skin at his sudden outburst. He was emotionally unstable, unpredictable, and dangerous. He was her daughter's murderer. She knew it, but he was also her other half, her sunshine. Joker looked y/n in her red and puffy eyes, they seemed so bright. He wanna save the light, but he couldn't escape this now. "Joker..." Y/n decided to disobey his order and started taking her steps closer to him until she was now standing tall over him. It was obvious he was trying to control the monster inside him. He had to shut his eyes tight, afraid that the devils inside him would evoke at the sight of a prey in front of him. Y/n got on her knees to his level. She cupped his cheeks in her hand, the Joker tried to yank his head out of her touch, but she wouldn't let him "No no stay away from me" He said, his eyes still closed "No, baby, look at me, look at me!" She finally got him to open his eyes. Their faces only few inches apart. As he looked at her, y/n could see it all written over his blue orbs: fear, confused, lost. He was trapped, couldn't escape his own mind unless someone showed him how. He was crying for help "We will get through it together, okay?" She spoke clearly. Though it seemed like he was suddenly hard of understanding "No no, stay away from me stay away from me stay away from me STAT AWAY FROM ME!!" A sudden sharp pain made y/n's face turn to the side after the slap. She looked back at him with a little blood drop on the corner of her lips, her eyes said it all, she was broken. Just as broken as him. Before she could say anything, the Joker stomped out the room, leaving y/n there alone. He needed to stay away from her. He needed to protect her from himself.

She wouldn't leave. Why'd she stay?! She'd only get herself in danger being here with him! Fine! If she resisted to stay, he'll be the one leaving. The Joker looked down at the pistol in his hand. His expression unreadable. This pistol. His favorite purple pistol with the gold jester symbol engraved on its handle. He called it his favorite toy. He had killed thousands using this toy. Guess the joke was on him, this toy was about to end it all, all the madness, the laughter. It'd all come to the end by this toy. Joker slowly lifted the gun up. His hand a bit shaky. Since when was he so weak? No no he had to do this, J told himself. He had to end the demons in him forever. So they couldn't hurt y/n. His red painted lips parted. He closed his eyes as he took the barrel of his toy in his mouth. His finger rested on the trigger. All that left to do was add the pressure. "J!!!" A voice stopped him. Joker opened his eyes and saw y/n standing at the doorway. Her eyes widened at the scene unfolding in front of her "J, put the gun down" She slowly approached as she reached her hand for him. But he only shook his head "It's the only way, honey" J spoke with the gun still in his mouth. The sound of the safety of the gun being unlocked made y/n froze. Her eyes never left his. How could it end up this way? How could it turn downhill so fast? It was as if the day Georgia Rose born was just yesterday. It felt like it was just yesterday that the three of them were laughing together in their bed. How could it turn out like this? Y/n gulped. It pained her, but if this was how her king really wanted, then let it be. J's eyes widened when he saw y/n picked something out of her jacket, something shiny. Something... evil the Joker almost thrown up just by the sight of it. In y/n's hand was that knife. The knife that ended his daughter's, their daughter's life. Y/n kept it with her even if it brought the memory she wanted to forget. For some reason, it made her feel like Georgia Rose was still around. So she kept it. Just so she could remind herself of her little angel. Y/n's eyes locked on Joker's as she slowly placed the knife against her throat. If it was what he wanted, she was going to do it. Then, maybe, the three of them could reunite again, could become a family again. The shock expression written on J's face. He finally took the pistol out of his mouth and spoke clearly "Y/n, put it down" Though she didn't budge. Tears started to stream down her face. Her grip on the knife handle tightened her knuckles turned white. She could feel the sound of her heart hammering fast against her chest as thousands of emotions flooded through her she could've sworn mister J could hear it too. Y/n closed her eyes, and started to push the weight down. Though before her daughter's murder weapon could bite into her skin, a strong impact hit her, yanked the knife away from her. And before she knew it, y/n found herself on the floor with mister J on top of her. He was panting hard. He was in rage. How... how could she dare to try to pull this shit on him?! Then, Joker felt it again. The demons inside him, they were screaming trying to be free he had to shut his eyes tight. His body was shaking as he tried to keep them at bay "J, J, J" Y/n's voice made him open his eyes again "Don't..." The clown said. He gritted his teeth "Don't you dare... do this again. Ever again, y/n, you understood?" His voice was so dark and intimidating it left y/n no choice but to nod in submissive. He got off of her, and she slowly stood up next to him. They hadn't had any real conversation ever since the death of Georgia Rose. It couldn't be like this. Y/n knew he needed help. So she reached her hand out, and gently placed it on his cheek. He couldn't even look at her. It was as if he was ashamed. His glare glued to the ground as a tear roll down his cheek. It landed on y/n's hand "Shh it's okay, baby, I told you we'll get through it... yes?" She cooed. Hearing her soft voice was enough to make him break. The Joker fell on his knees right there and then. It was too much. Everything was to much that the man said to be invincible could no longer carry the weight on his shoulders. And so he broke down in front of his other half. He hugged her waist, buried his face in her stomach as he let it all out. Y/n ran her hand through his hair. Her other hand held him tight letting him know it was okay. She got him.

If there was one thing the Joker and y/n learned, their lives wasn't meant for a child. They wouldn't make the same mistake again. If y/n ever got pregnant, this time, they would make it right, they would get rid of it before it'd born. This way, the same mistake wouldn't repeat itself.
