This is the last chapter of Guitar Cry. I cannot emphasize how important my A/N at the end is, so please make sure to read it.

"Can we take one more picture of the lovely couple before they go inside?"

I turned sideways, facing down as I posed for a picture. I couldn't help but notice the way Cody's fingers were intertwined between mine. Another flash of light went off before Cody and I changed our position.

I was now standing beside him, with his arm snaked around my waist. I smiled cheekily, and turned my head toward his in confusion when I heard a soft chuckle escape his lips. "What's so funny?" I smirked.

"It's just that. . . ." He began. "It's kind of funny how one year ago, we were in the exact same place that we're in now and pretending to date. Now, we're an actual couple."

I kissed his cheek, letting my lips linger there for a little longer than usual. There was another blinding flash of light. That is definitely going to be my new screen saver.

"And happy." I added.

"And happy." He smiled.

The two us walked down the carpet hand-in-hand toward the entrance. We weren't just opening a new door to a building. We were opening a door to the rest of our lives.

Together.

13 years later:

"Santana."

I popped my head out of the back door. "Yes?"

"I need your help."

I smirked as I approached him and my oldest daughter, Leighton, who was playing Uno with him in the backyard. "You need my help, huh?" I teased, poking his nose playfully. "I thought Mr. Macho could handle any problem."

"I can," Cody beamed, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me down to sit on his lap. "There's only one thing I think I should leave up to you."

"What's that?"

"Boy problems."

Leighton groaned as she burried her head into her arm in embarrassment. "This is so embarrassing."

"No it's not, honey." I assured her, stroking her hair soothingly. "Do you want to talk about it in private?" I asked, emphasizing on the word 'private.'

Cody seemed to understand what I said, because he stood up from where he was sitting and started walking toward the door. I slipped into his seat and watched his back as he left. He suddenly paused before saying, "I'll go get my shot-gun." And stepping inside.

This only caused Leighton to let out another groan. I traced circles on my beautiful daughter's forearm. "Don't worry, sweetheart." I murmured. "He's only kidding."

Wait.

I sure hope he is.

After knowing him for almost all of my life, he never failed at surprising me. "So," I pressed. "A boy, huh?" This day was bound to happen. She was a teenager and there was nothing we could do about it.

She hesitantly looked up at me. "Yeah. . ."

I coughed lightly, letting her know that she could continue.

"Well, I really like him. But, the thing is, he's dating this girl called Liliana Flack. And she's a total bi--"

"Language."

Leighton's face flushed. "Sorry. . ." She mumbled. As you can tell, she picks her grammar up from Alli. "Anyway, I really like him. And I'm tired of him just seeing me as his friend. Doesn't he understand that I want to be more than that?"

This story sounded very familiar.

"Boy's are so stupid," Leighton mumbled.

"I don't know about that. . ." The two of us looked up in surprise to see Cody leaning by the doorway. "Yes, we're all stupid, I'll give you that. But what if he secretly likes you too? What if he's just afraid that you don't like him back? He doesn't know how you feel about him because you're scared to tell him."

Leighton nodded her head slowly. "You know what, dad. . .I disagree with you on that one. Not all guys are stupid. I mean, look at you for example." She smiled at him in sincerity.

I snorted in response. "What? Your dad was the biggest fool out of them all!"

I couldn't help but find this whole situation funny. It was the exact same thing that Cody and I went through so many years before.

"Hey, it takes two-to-tango, missy." Cody smiled in amusement, gesturing his head toward me and crossing his arms. "But that doesn't matter right now -- because all of those things lead us to where we are now."

Leighton stared at us in confusion while Cody and I just stared into each other's eyes. She wouldn't understand why until she grew older.

The sound of a gun unlocking went off. The three of us froze in terror as we turned our heads sideway, glaring at wherever the noise came from.

There stood Alli. As usual. "You weren't serious about that shot-gun?"

"Real life is a funny thing, you know. In real life, saying the right thing at the right moment is beyond crucial. So crucial, in fact, that most of us start to hesitant for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. But lately what I've begun to fear more than that is letting the moment pass without saying anything. I think you deserve to look back on your life without this chorus of resounding voices saying, 'I could've but it's too late now'. So there's a time for silence, and there's a time for waiting your turn. But if you know how you feel, and you so clearly know what you need to say, you'll know it. I don't think you should wait. I think you should speak now." -Taylor Swift

Oh my gosh.

I cannot thank you all enough for making this story such the success that it came out to be. And it's all because of y'all! So thank you, I appreciate every single comment and vote from the bottom of my heart. Alright, alright, I promised I wouldn't get emotional. *blows tissue.* But, holy cow, thank you so much! You're all amazing.

Just to clear a few things up. . . No. There will not be a sequel. This is not Don't Cry Your Heart Out (LOL!) Besides, how would I be able to write a sequel when I have my new story coming out? Stay tuned for that! The new story will be posted VERRY-BERRY-SOON! xD

Once again. . . Thank you so much! Like, gah, I can't even. . . You're so awesome. Mind-blowing. Amazing. Phenominal. Awe-striking. Supercalifragiclisticespialidocious. <-- Probably spelled that wrong, but whatever.

I hope you all had the time of your lives going on a ride with Santana, Cody and Alli. I'll miss Santana's character, but I hope you guys grow to love my new one too.

Stay amazing! xoxo
