It was very cold no thanks to snow and Bloom was waiting for her brother Tom to get home from the hospital.
Bloom was cooking dinner for her and her brother she knew that her mom and dad would not be coming home. After she was done with cooking she started a fire in the fireplace and then started to clean the living room, Bloom heard the front door open and jogged to the door with a bright smile.
"Hi Tom"
"Hi, Bloom" Tom exclaimed with a smile that didn't match his sad eyes.
"Well I made dinner for us so let's eat!" Bloom declared trying her best not to question her brother so she grabbed the plates of food and places them on the table as they both sat down at the table next to each other and started to eat.
"Hey, Tom how did your visit at the doctors go?"
"I kind of don't want to talk about it," Tom said, "Do you think mom or dad ever come home?"
"I don't know," Bloom exclaimed, "Maybe they're never coming home."After that, either one of them wanted to talk in the awkward silence.
