A seven-year-old Annabeth Chase and Tessa Snow, twelve-year-old Thalia Grace, fourteen-year-old Luke Castellan and satyr Grover Underwood were running for their lifes. Any other kids wouldn't have this problem but they are not ordinary. They were chased through the woods by angry cyclops. They knew they couldn't outrun them, so Thalia made the ultimate sacrifice. She stayed behind so Annabeth, Luke, Tessa and Grover could make it safely to Camp Half-Blood. The camp that is the only safe place for half-bloods like them. Thalia fought against monsters bravely but she was mortally wounded, feeling sorry for his daughter Zaus saved her life by turning her into a pine tree. This tree became a barrier for the camp against monsters so this tragedy wouldn't happen again.
That day one hero has fallen.
