(Ricky's P.O.V)
Skylar cuddles closer to me throughout the movie, her head resting on my chest. I smile to myself once I realize she's asleep and I kiss her head softly.
"Goodnight, my princess." I smile, brushing her hair out of her eyes carefully. I look down at her, wondering how I got so lucky to run across someone like her.
"I don't know what I did to deserve you." I sigh quietly, looking down at her. A small smile appears on her face and I smile, wondering if she's actually asleep.
"I can hear you, you know?" She says softly, making me smile.
"Oh well, it's nothing bad, trust me." I say, kissing her forehead softly.
"Can you sing to me?" She asks softly, snuggling closer to me.
"Sure." I smile, pulling the covers around her shoulders and tightening my arms around her.
"When you look me in the eyes and tell me that you love me, everything's alright, when you're right here by my side, when you look me in the eyes, I catch a glimpse of heaven. I find my paradise, when you look me in the eyes." I start to sing to her, her smile showing again.
"Keep going." She says quietly, opening her eyes and smiling up at me. I smile and kiss her softly, pulling away and continuing to sing her favorite song. She closes her eyes again, sighing softly.
"I love you." She says softly, making my smile grow.
"I love you too." I say, kissing her forehead softly and continuing to sing for her. Her smile slowly fades, her body relaxing as she drifts off to sleep. I stop singing, rubbing her back slowly. I play a game quietly on my phone, being extra careful to not wake her. I eventually start to get tired and put my phone down, moving slightly and carefully moving Skylar so I can stand up. I move the blanket and carefully pick her up bridal style, carrying her upstairs to her room. I lay her in bed and cover her up, kissing her forehead softly. I turn to go to the guest room, but I feel her hand grab mine.
"Stay." She half asks, half demands.
"Okay. Let me turn out the light." I say, walking over and turning the switch off. I walk to her bed, pulling the covers back and climbing in. She scoots over, making as much room for me as possible.
"You know you can move closer, right?" I ask softly, laying on my side, facing her.
"Too bad if not. I planned on it anyway." She giggles, cuddling up to me, her arm around my waist, her head laying against my arm. I smile and put my arm around her waist, pulling her closer to me.
"Goodnight." She says softly, kissing my cheek.
"Goodnight, angel." I smile, kissing her forehead in return. She closes her eyes and smiles softly. I smile to myself and eventually close my eyes, drifting off to sleep too, my favorite girl in my arms, exactly where I wanted her.

(Skylar's P.O.V)
I wake up to the sound of my parents bickering for the 12th time in a week. I whimper quietly, dropping my head back against the pillow.
"What's wrong?" Ricky's voice asks, instantly changing my mood.
"My parents are fighting again." I sigh, cuddling into the covers. We lay in silence for a few minutes before I hear my mom yelling. I get up and open my door, going downstairs.
"Can you guys stop?" I ask staring at them.
"This has nothing to do with you." My dad snaps, pointing at me.
"Just stop fighting! Ever since Sebastian died that's all you've done! Am I no reason to keep peace? Do I even matter to you anymore?" I ask, my heart breaking slightly at the smallest possibility of that being true.
"You're talking nonsense, Skylar!" My dad says, glaring at me from the kitchen table.
"Is it nonsense? Or is it the truth?" I ask, turning on my heel and running back up the stairs, going to my room and slamming the door shut and leaning against it, starting to cry.
"Baby? What's wrong?" Ricky asks worriedly, getting up and walking over to me, taking my hands in his gently, pulling me away from the door.
"I'm just tired of this, Ricky. All they do is fight. It's like I'm not enough to keep them from doing it." I cry, looking at the ground.
"Don't think like that, baby." He says softly, pulling me into a warm hug.
"I'm sorry." I apologize, snuggling into him.
"You have nothing to be sorry for, beautiful." He says, kissing my forehead softly.
"I'm glad you're here." I say, calming down slowly.
"I'll always be here. Maybe not in person, but I'm always here for you." He says, tightening the hug a little. I smile and nod, hugging him back.
"Let's get ready." He says smiling.
"For what?" I ask confused.
"I'm taking you dress shopping for prom." He says smiling, going over to his bag and getting out clothes. I smile and walk to my closet, opening the door and looking through my selection of clothes. I pick out a loose blue crop top, going over to my dresser and picking out a pair of high waisted, ripped black skinny jeans. I go into the bathroom and change, taking my hair down, brushing it and putting it in a loose braid. I put on a little makeup and go back into my room, finding a pair of converse and pulling them on, tying the laces. I get my phone from the night stand, looking through my notifications. I see a silver chain go around my head before it rests against my neck, being fastened and carefully dropped against my neck. I giggle and turn around, seeing Ricky smiling widely.
"I thought you'd wanna wear it." He smiles, wrapping his arms around my waist tightly.
"You thought right." I giggle, putting my arms around his neck, pecking his lips gently.
"Let's go, weirdo." He teases, making me laugh as I follow him out of my room and down the stairs. I put my phone in my pocket, following him outside.
"Hi, Mrs. Garcia." I smile, getting in the backseat.
"Honey, call me Tammy. Please." She says smiling at me in the rear view mirror.
"Right." I say smiling softly. Ricky turns slightly in his seat, smiling at me.
"Rodeo?" Tammy asks Ricky, earning a nod from him.
"Yep!" He smiles, putting his sunglasses on. I sit quietly in the backseat, glancing at Ricky every now and then.
"When are you back on set?" Tammy asks him curiously.
"Tomorrow at 8:30, yay." He says sarcastically, making me giggle softly.
"What are you laughing at?" He asks smiling, poking my leg, making me giggle again.
"You have to be on set at 7:30, I don't know why you're laughing." He says smirking at me.
"I know I do. I'm excited about it. I only have four days left." I giggle, sticking my tongue out at him. He smiles and shakes his head, looking at Tammy.
"I don't know what I'm gonna do with her." He says, making her smile at me.
"I'd keep her, if I were you." She says to him, making him smile.
"I planned on it." He smiles at me, making me blush slightly. We eventually get to LA and Tammy finds a place to park, turning the car off and following us to one of the many dress shops. I browse the selection of dresses, nothing fully catching my attention.
"Anything?" Ricky asks curiously as he walks over to me.
"No. I kinda like this one but I don't know." I say, looking at a navy blue floor length dress.
"It's pretty, I like it." He says smiling, making me smile.
"If I were to get that, you'd have to go with a light colored tux. And we both know you're terrible at keeping things clean." I smile at him, making him nod.
"Okay, true." He says, making me smile.
"Let's go check the bridal shop. Sometimes they have some dresses." Tammy says to us and we nod, following her out the door and down the sidewalk to the bridal shop on the corner. A pink dress catches my attention and I pick it out, holding it while looking around for other options. A bright blue catches my eye and I walk over to it, instantly falling in love with it.
"I'm gonna try these on." I tell Ricky, making him nod as I hand him my phone. The cashier comes to the back and unlocks a dressing room for me. I thank her and go inside, changing into the pink dress first, looking at my reflection in the mirror. I open the door and step out, spinning in a circle and looking at Ricky.
"What do you think?" I ask him, a bright smile coming to his face.
"Well, I personally think it's stunning." He smiles, motioning for me to spin again. I giggle and spin around again.
"I love it." He nods, making me laugh.
"I'm gonna try the other ones on." I say, going back into the dressing room, slipping out of the pink one and slipping in to a light lime green colored dress. I open the door and take a few steps out, spinning in another circle.
"I like that one!" Tammy says cheerfully, making me smile at her.
"Me too!" Ricky says smiling at me.
"I have one more to try on. And I really like that one." I say smiling, walking back into the dressing room and shutting the door, changing into the light blue dress. I look in the mirror and instantly know this is the dress for me. I open the door and take a few steps out, looking at Tammy and Ricky.
"Woah." Ricky mumbles, making me blush slightly.
"That one is stunning on you." Tammy says smiling at me.
"Thank you. This ones my favorite." I smile, making her smile again.

(Ricky's P.O.V)
Skylar comes out in a light blue dress and it feels like the wind is knocked out of me. She looks so beautiful. I don't deserve this.
"Woah." I mumble, not being able to take my eyes off of her. I hear my mom say something to her but I don't exactly know what.
"Ricky, what do you think?" Skylar asks looking at me.
"Um, I, uh, I think that's the dress." I stutter, sounding like a total fool. Skylar smiles and disappears back into the dressing room, coming out five minutes later in her normal clothes, the green and pink dresses being hung back up, while the blue one rests in her arms. I smile to myself, walking over to her and wrapping my arm around her shoulders.
"Find everything okay?" The cashier asks curiously.
"Yeah!" Skylar says happily, putting the dress on the counter. The lady rings up the dress and Skylar hands her a credit card before I can get mine out.
"Don't worry, my dad paid for it." Skylar says to me, making me feel a little better about it. The cashier takes the tags off and carefully puts a bag over the dress, the hanger sticking out of the top.
"Here you go!" The lady smiles at Skylar, handing her back the dress.
"Thank you." Skylar smiles, holding on to it.
"Okay, now off to find Mr. stubborn a tux." My mom says, making Skylar giggle.
"I'm not stubborn." I say, both of them looking at me before all three of us burst out laughing. We walk down to the tux shop, a few other people wandering around the store.
"Try this one." Mom says, handing me a charcoal grey tux.
"I like that one." Skylar smiles at me, making me nod.
"And this one." My mom says, practically throwing two more tuxes at me.
"Okay! Chill, let me try these on first!" I laugh, walking to back of the store to the dressing rooms. I find an empty room and go in, shutting the door behind me and hanging up the three tuxes my mom picked out. I change into the black one first, walking out and showing my mom and Skylar.
"Child, you need help." Skylar giggles, walking over to me.
"How so?" I ask, knowing exactly what she's talking about.
"One, you're not a vampire, don't wear your collar like that. Two, the tie, is, well, supposed to be tied." She says, both of us laughing.
"What can you do?" I shrug, making her laugh again.
"There." She says proudly, taking a step back and motioning for me to spin around like she did while trying on dresses.
"Is this supposed to choke me?" I ask, tugging lightly on the tie.
"Oh, it's not that tight." Skylar says, stepping closer to me and loosening it.
"You wear one of these things." I smile at her.
"No thank you." She says laughing, taking the tie off and holding it.
"Try on the light grey one." She tells me, making me nod. I walk back into the dressing room and change into the grey suit Skylar told me to try. I open the door and step out, her face instantly lighting up.
"I like that one!" She chirps happily, making me smile.
"I do too." I smile, looking at myself in the mirror.
"So you're getting that one?" She asks smiling, earning a nod from me.
"Yay!" She giggles, making me smile.
"I'll be back." I say, kissing her cheek gently before going back into the dressing room and changing back into my normal clothes. I hang up the two tuxes and hand my mom the suit I want.
"I'd say today was a success." I smile at Skylar, wrapping my arms around her shoulders, her adorable giggle causing me to smile.
"I'd say so." She smiles, looking up at me. I smile and kiss her forehead gently, her smile growing.
"Let's go children." My mom smiles at us, holding my suit out to me. I take it from her and follow her, holding my hand out for Skylar.
I can't wait until prom night....
