Lea's POV
My eyes widened when I saw Aga from my back, 5 meters away from me at the door.
"What are you doing here?! Is this a plan of yours?!"ako
Tumingin ako sa kanya at kay Mister Kang ulit. I don't care kung pinagtitinginan na kami rito. I just don't like what's happening at this moment, and probably what will happen later!
"Teka, this is not my plan."Aga
Lumapit siya sa amin na nakakunot ang noo.
"I planned this, Miss Salonga, because I have a proposal for the both of you. Mister Muhlach, you may sit down."Kang
Umupo na nga siya at sa tabi ko pa. The audacity.
"What even is this? Well, whatever your proposal is, Mister Kang, I'm sure I will not like it. And I will not accept it."ako
"But let me speak first, Miss Salonga. Your companies are one of the biggest and well-known advertising companies here in the country. So, I would like to propose na kayo sana ang gumawa ng commercial para sa bagong model ng sasakyan na ilalabas ng kumpanya ko. I think it's a great idea, isn't it?"Kang
Napakunot naman kaagad ang noo ko. I was surprised by his proposal that I can't even process it in my brain.
"No, I highly doubt it."ako
"Don't worry, I'll pay big for this collaboration. It's all on me!"Kang
I almost closed my eyes when he said that as if I care how big he'd pay us. Tumingin naman ako sa katabi ko at wala lang siyang imik na uminom ng tubig. Ha! Does he think this is funny? Why can't he speak and reject the idea?
"I'm begging you with this, Miss Salonga."Kang
I sharply exhaled at sumandal na lang sa upuan ko habang nakahalukipkip. I know that was rude but that's what I wanted to do! Ano ba kasing ginagawa ko rito?
"How about you, Mister Muhlach?"Kang
"I'm sorry but I'll let her make the decision."Aga
I rolled my eyes when that's what he only said.
"Well, don't you like it? The two of the big companies here in the Philippines become partners?"Kang
I arched my brows then looked to Aga who's coughing so hard right now.
"Are you okay, Mister Muhlach?"Kang
"Ahm, yeah! Nasamid lang. I'm sorry."Aga
I stood up because I couldn't take it anymore. I cannot sit with neither the two of them anymore. I looked at them for the last time and took my bag.
"I'm sorry but I'll think of it. Let me leave you two."ako
Then I walked out at umalis na sa lugar na 'yon. Anong partner?! Ayoko siyang maging ka-partner sa kahit anong bagay! Never again that I'd like to be with him!
"Oh, Ma'am. Ang bilis naman po ata ng meeting ninyo?"Ellaine
Nag-init naman ang ulo ko sa pagbungad sa akin ni Ellaine pagkabalik ko ng kumpanya kaya hindi ko na lang siya sinagot at dumiretso na lang sa opisina ko.
Aga's POV
I sat on my swivel chair then swung it while thinking of Lea earlier. It's obvious na ayaw niya sa offer at galit siya, but I would be happy if mangyari ang proposal ni Mister Kang. I won't take that as an advantage to make us all right, siguro I just want to be with her even with this big project. Kahit sandali lang.
I get the telephone and sighed first before I placed it on my ear.
"Hello?"ako
I greeted and tried to use an energetic voice but I really lost it earlier.
