Lea's POV
"M-mahal, m-manganganak na ata ako."
"H-ha?! M-manganganak ka na?! D-dadalhin na ba kita sa ospital?!"
"Malamang! Saan mo ba 'ko gustong manganak?! Aah!!! Bilisan mo! Ang sakit!"
I gulped then sat on the sofa.
"Push! Isa pa! Malapit nang lumabas! I need one big push!"
"Ahhh!!!!"
I exhaled as soon as I heard the cry of the baby. That was very relieving.
"Hala. Grabe po pala manganak 'no, Mommy."Sophia
I looked at Sophia when she said that and sat beside me on the sofa because I'm watching on television.
"Mommy, noong pinanganak po ba ako sobrang sakit din? Ilang oras ka pong nag-labor?"Sophia
I creased my forehead then went back to the day that I gave birth to her, the day that completed me as a person.
"Hindi naman. Hindi nga ako nahirapan noong pinanganak kita eh. All throughout my pregnancy sa 'yo hindi ako nahirapan. 1 hour nga lang labor ko sa 'yo, eh! Hindi mo pinahirapan si Mommy. You've been a very good baby to Mommy."ako
I chuckled then pinched her cheek that made her laugh.
"For sure hindi ka rin pahihirapan ng kapatid ko, Mommy. 'Di ba, baby?"Sophia
She talked to her sibling then smiled to my small baby bump and caressed it.
"Mom, kapag po na—"Sophia
"What's up! What's up! Madlang people!"
Sophia and I looked back to the entrance of the living room to see the people whom we've been waiting for.
"Yey! Nandito na po kayo!"Sophia
She stood up and so did I while my hand is on my baby bump, hindi pa naman siya masyadong halata but I love caressing it, especially when my mag-ama are the ones who are doing it. For sure the little one inside me already feel loved.
"So, kumusta na ang buntis?"Ellaine
She asked as we hugged each other.
"I'm fine, Ellaine. Thank you. You guys should take a seat first. Also, Wilma, bring snacks and drinks please. Thank you!"ako
"Nako! Hindi na, Ma'am! Nag-abala ka pa. Cake lang sa'kin, mareng Wilma!"Carol
"Gaga! Hahahaha!"Jane
I laughed then comfortably sat on the sofa again. Sumunod naman si Sophia kay Wilma dahil tutulong daw siya sa paghanda ng makakain.
"In fairness, Ma'am, blooming ka. Siguro lalaki 'yan!"Loraine
"Oo nga, feel ko rin."Carol
"Sabing babae 'yan, eh. Ano sabunutan na lang tayo?"Wil
"Lugi sa 'yo ang igsi ng buhok mo. Yey! My cake!!! Thank you, Sophia and Mareng Wilma!"Carol
I chuckled and helped the two to get the food from the tray.
"Don't eat a lot, Carol. You're here to get your measurements, baka maging maluwag sa 'yo ang susuutin mo."ako
"Ay, oo nga pala. Hati tayo, Jane!"Carol
Alok niya kay Jane kaya kaagad itong lumapit sa kanya at naghati sila sa slice ng cake.
"So, how's work by the way?"ako
I asked since I haven't been working for a week now. Hindi na ako pinagta-trabaho ni Aga at masyado akong iniingatan. Not just physically but also emotionally and mentally. Ayos lang naman sa akin as long as it's for my baby's safety.
