Lea's POV
I sharply exhaled first then looked again at the gate of his house. I clasped my hands and readied myself to push the door bell. I pursed my lips and waited for someone to open the gate and when someone did I was started, especially when I saw him.
"Hey, Lei! What are you doing here?"Aga
He asked with a wide smile on his lips. He let me in so I thanked him.
"Ahm... gusto ko sanang mag-usap tayo?"ako
We both stopped in front the door of his house when he looked back to me with a wrinkle on his forehead.
"About what?"Aga
I looked down then played the fingers of my hand as I bit my lower lip.
"I just... want to... fix everything."ako
He slowly nodded his head although it's obvious that he is baffled.
"Pasok tayo?"Aga
I nodded. He led me to the living room and asked me what I wanted to drink or eat and so I told him that I want a water to at least prepare myself to this conversation, although I've been preparing for this since last night.
"Thank you."ako
I forced a smile as I got from him time water. He sat beside me that made me drink the water immediately.
"What about it?"Aga
Taas kilay niyang tanong. I frustratedly sighed then looked at him straight to the eye.
"Ags?"ako
He raised his brows even more.
"I'm sorry,"ako
I looked down and my eyes started to form tears in it.
"For everything."ako
I finally said then looked at him.
"Sa... sa lahat ng nagawa ko sa ‘yo. We weren't supposed to be here and we weren't supposed to be who we are right now, but because of me, we're here."ako
I sniffed and sharply exhaled dahil kahit papaano ay nararamdaman ko nang medyo gumagaan ang dinadala ko. I looked at him again and gently held his hand although I was a little bit trembling.
"Alam ko... na... it's already too late to apologise and say this to you lalo na ngayon na nagiging okay na tayo. Kaso, I badly want to be honest with you. Gusto ko, wala akong tinatago sa ‘yo. I want to be honest, and not be scared that you might hate me for being honest."ako
I looked down to wipe the teardrop that fell on my cheek.
"I'm doing this because I want us to be, perhaps, totally fine. I want us, me, to be freed from the past. I want a new start, with you, again."ako
I looked at him in the eyes.
"I'm sorry."ako
I sobbed. He blinked and gently wiped my cheeks.
"I don't know why you're doing this, apologizing, but it's okay, Lei. Whatever behind us, it won't dictate what's ahead of us. I also have mistakes."Aga
I shook my head.
"You don't understand. I'm selfish, Aga. I was so selfish. I only think about my own welfare, my own pain. What do you think the reason kung bakit ako nakipaghiwalay sa ‘yo?"ako
He creased his forehead but I just patiently waiting for his answer.
"Because you saw us? Rina and I? But I swear nothing happened between us, Lei. I didn't cheat, I never cheat—"Aga
