Lea's POV
I'm in my office right now, but Sophia is not here because she is with her Dad, and I badly missed her already.
I looked at the door when someone knocked on it, of course I know it's Ellaine so I let her in. She gritted me with a smile and with tons of paperwork.
"Good morning, madzam!"Ellaine
I pursed my lips and rolled my eyes because of her mapang-asar na ngiti.
"Don't worry, I already read all of those, pirma mo na lang ang kulang."Ellaine
I chuckled and thanked her. I looked on my phone when it started ringing and I knew it's Sophia because she was the one who chose that certain ringtone specially for her.
"Wait."ako
I told Ellaine so she stopped explaining things to me. I answered the call with a smile on my face.
"Hi! My love!"ako
"Taas ‘non ah."Ellaine
I just chuckled. I signaled my hand to Ellaine for her to sit on the visitor's chair because for sure medyo matatagalan ang usapan namin ng baby ko.
"Yes, I'm doing fine, anak. How bout you? What are you doing there?"ako
I nodded when I heard her answer.
"I'm really fine, anak. Thank you for the concern. Hindi na ako pagod kasi tumawag ka."ako
I glared at Ellaine when she's giving me that look as if I'm a teenager talking to a boyfriend over the phone.
"Yes po, continue on what you're doing na. I love you, tawagan mo ulit ako ah?"ako
I grinned when she enthusiastically responded with a yes.
"Hm, why?"ako
Kunot-noo kong tanong nang pigilan niya ako na huwag ibaba ang tawag. I raised my brows when I found out the reason why.
"Of course!"ako
I awkwardly laughed and scratched my forehead.
"Oo na nga, anak. Tell him."ako
I glanced at Ellaine and I knew it, mamaya aasarin na naman ako nito at ichi-chika sa labas.
"Oh sige, please tell him that I love him too."ako
I finally said dahil masyadong mapilit ang anak ko.
"Bye! I love you! Please take care."ako
My jaw dropped as soon as I hang up the call. Ellaine just threw a pencil eraser to me!
"Shulandi, ha. Oh ayan pirmahan mo po ang mga iyan. Tapos ito mga report. Then ito, of course letters that I don't know what's inside. Trabaho well, Ma'am."Ellaine
I laughed because of that.
"Whatever, Ellaine!"ako
"Nako! Nako! Sige na, baka maihi ka pa diyan dahil may pa-I love you si Sir. Asawa ‘yarn?"Ellaine
I rolled my eyes and get one folder on top of the pile of paperwork.
"We're not husband and wife, FYI."ako
She crossed her arms.
"Wushu! Pero gusto mo? Alalahanin, we're not getting any younger, baka kailangan na ng kapatid ni Sophia."Ellaine
My eyes widened and slapped her the folder I'm holding.
"Nakakaloka ka, Ellaine! Stop that!"ako
She laughed so I started reading the contract that I was reading earlier.
