"You really don't mind me putting my books on your bookshelves?" Dan asked her for the zillionth time as they were putting said books from the cardboard box on the bookshelves in the big office space.

"It's fine, Dan," she exclaimed. "I told you that it was okay. Bookshelves look nicer when they are filled so it's only good that more books are coming on there. If I didn't want them here, I wouldn't have offered." It was also the only place in the house where more books could be placed. Everybody's room was room too full.

"But I won't be even living here full-time."

An exasperated sigh escaped her lips. "I already told you that this will be your home when you come back from college and it's nice to have some of your stuff here. Besides it wouldn't even fit in a college dorm."

"Fair enough," he muttered.

She laughed before she continued putting the books on the bookshelf. There were only twenty books more to go. It was impressive how many books Dan had managed to collect in his eighteen years on the planet.

His collection was only a fraction smaller than hers at his age and that was only because her caregivers had been insanely rich and she had a lot of money to spend on books.

When they finally finished putting all of his books on the shelf, they took a step back at her bookcase that were now almost completely filled.

"It does look nicer fuller," Dan admitted.

"I told you."

He rolled his eyes. "I'll look if I can help unpack more boxes." Alessa nodded in agreement as they walked to the living room downstairs where more boxes were waited to be brought to their appropriate rooms.

"I guess that I'll start putting the rest of my stuff in my room," he said as he carried a box up the stairs.

What box should she bring up next? The office was almost ready now. It needed some more decorations but that could wait for later. Logan didn't want her to come in their bedroom because he was preparing some kind of surprise there. Perhaps Nic could use some of her help.

It was still unbelievable that she had a beautiful townhome just on the outskirts of Austin. Of course it had been a goal of her someday but a little bit over a year ago she wouldn't have been able to imagine that she would be living in a townhome with a boyfriend.

The boyfriend fact would have been shocking on its own.

The kitchen cabinets still needed to filled. It was a tedious task that she had avoided the whole day. Logan was lucky that he had some type of surprise planned and could avoid the painstaking work of filling the kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, vases and silverware.

They just had too much stuff.

Okay, they didn't have that much stuff. Even with all of their things, the townhome was nowhere near to being completely filled with things. Perhaps in a couple of months, the spacious home would be just as filled as her previous apartment.

The thought made her giddy.

Filling the kitchen like she had predicted took some time. Even when Nic came down to help her, there didn't seem to be much progress.

Alessa didn't even get to see the finished product because Logan came bounding in with a big grin on his face.

"Ready to see the surprise?"

A big smile appeared on her face as she dropped the forks that she was holding on the counter. "I have been looking forward to it all day."

"Well come on then," Logan said as he grabbed her arm pulling her towards the stairs. Nic was laughing at the sight.
