!!!The first chapter is now up, you can go read it now!!!

So a little while ago I posted a little update on this story, I don't know where it went. So I thought i'd just recap what the last one said while also sharing some news.

First I want to thank each and every one of you who read my book and left such incredible comments. I know I'm not a good writer, but I truly love writing. I'm grateful that you all gave this book a chance, it means the world to me.

I am revising this book. It's a slow and agonizing process sometimes but I'm working on it. I won't post any of the revised chapters until they're all finished because some events are changing. Going back I realized how many plot holes and unnecessary things I had strewn throughout the book, so it needed a lot of work.

As we near closer to the summer, school is simmering down. I'm almost done with school. Teachers are preparing us for finals and the end is in sight. I have a lot more time to write now, so hopefully things will speed up.

I promised, to those who asked, that there would be a sequel and there will be. Just not right now. I've been writing a lot of things and trying to find a style. This book, though it holds a special place in my heart, isn't something I'm necessarily proud of. Which is part of the reason I'm trying to so meticulously revise it.

Writing the sequel to this book just isn't coming easily to me. There will eventually be two more books in this particular series. Neither of them are coming along how I need them to though.

So instead I've decided to puch forward on a book I'm more proud of. I have eight or nine chapters written for it at the moment and plan to start publishing soon. But there are a few things I'd like to mention before I do.

First, I'm not a good writer. I don't claim to be and I won't pretend I am. My work is for my enjoyment, if you don't like it there are other books for you.

This new book isn't like the first one, not just in style but also the world my main character lives in. The main character, Rihanna, will not have the same opportunities to prosper like Rose did. She will be suffocated and oppressed by the people around her, because in this story females are worth nothing. They are meant to be housewives.

I don't agree with that, but it's the setting I have thrown my character in to.

Do not think that this character is weak willed though. No, she is stubborn and will do anything to be free. She will make decisions you don't agree with. She will feel ways you might not understand.

In this new story, there will be mates. I like the element mates add. All male werewolve's shift, however not all females do. Infact most females don't. Rihanna is an especially young female shifter, making her extremely special. The pack Rihanna lives in is old and strict. Certain laws make her life miserable.

Again I say these books are not at all connected.

Anyway, I've decided to give all who care a sneak peak of my new book. This is a scene further along in the book, but is in a flashback. Enjoy.

 Enjoy

Once a female shifts, they have a ceremony for her. Every pack member is invited to watch as the eligible wolves fight for her hand.

The female sits on a pretty throne, clothed in a pretty dress with perfect makeup and hair. She then must watch as the pack fights for her.

Rihanna felt uncomfortable, sitting upon the throne waiting to see who would win. She was stuffed in a too tight dress that gave her womanly curves. It was as if they were trying to make the males forget she was only fourteen.

Her hair was curled to perfection, framing her face in such a way to make her look more mature.

"Remember to smile." Paige whispers to her.

Rihanna chose her to be her guide. Paige would teach Rihanna the customs every southern women lives by.

Paige would turn her into the proper lady, stripping away everything that made Rihanna special. She would teach her to be obedient, quite, motherly, a spitting image of every other she wolf.

Despite knowing Paige was just looking out for her, Rihanna couldn't find it in herself to smile. She felt disgusted at this tradition.

At exactly 9 p.m. one of the councilmen, Reese, walk in. Everyone bows their head in respect, waiting for him to start the ceremony.

"Today," He says loudly. "We are here to find the most capable male for our most recent shifter. Any wolf who has hit maturity may fight for her. The rules are simple, win a fight, move up. Lose and you're out. We will countinue until their is only one left standing."

The wolves around Rihanna cheep loudly, excited to see who would win. The sound was deafening, but Rihanna trys not to be to bothered by it.

One by one wolves entered the ring set up for the fights. Well it wasn't really a ring, it was more like a few old bloody mats thrown next tomeach other. Rihanna could smell the nauseating scent of it from where she was sitting.

Slowly the crowd of men competeing start to dwindle down, leaving only around ten left.

It was then that Rihanna really looked at them. She saw a few that she knew from school mixed with a few older ones who she'd never met. However only one of them caught her eye.

His bright green eyes caught her's, capturing her full attention. Micheal Stout should not have of been there, he'd already chose a mate. Sure she was dead, but everyone knew that he was the one who killed her.

He used to beat her so ruthlessly, everyone knew that. But being the gamma meant that no one dared to try and help her. She died last year, the alpha told everyone it was an unknown cause, but everyone knew it was Micheal.

Fear took over Rihanna, he can't win. She knew what would happen if he did. He was the highest ranking wolf fighting for her, someone had to beat him.

Another fight ends and Micheal took the mat. Micheal was a big guy, easily six foot six, with buldging muscules. The previous winner looked horrified, but doesn't back down.

It takes merely a minute before Micheal destroys the warrior. Infact he takes all of the challengers out in under ten minutes.

He stares down Rihanna, giving her a sickening smile.

'Please, someone, anyone, fight him.' She pleads to herself.

"Is there any other challengers?" The councilman asks.

No one steps foward, the crowd was silent, everyone feeling sorry for Rihanna. No one would have wished this on her. No one would wish Micheal on anyone.

When the councilman notices there are no more he starts to speak once again. "Then I have to declare...."

"Wait!" Rihanna shouts, jumping off of her throne. "I want to fight for myself."
