Lauren left Camila's house shortly after the events of last chapter. Nothing much happened for the rest of that lonely night.

But Camila did lay awake in bed, waiting for her mother to come back home. And when Sinu finally did arrive back at home, Camila couldn't help but notice that her step dad still hadn't come back home yet. In fact, her step dad hadn't been in the household in three consecutive days. Camila certainly didn't mind.

"Good morning, Jauregui," the principal waved. It was the next morning when Harry greeted Lauren in the hallway, "How are you and Camila doing?"

Lauren rolled her emerald eyes as she glared upon the young principal. His hair seemed longer, even though the last time that they had seen each other was not long ago. His hair must grow at an irregularly fast rate. It only made him look younger.

"Why are you so concerned about me and Camila?" Lauren asked, an eyebrow lifted as she observed his strange outfit that didn't seem necessarily appropriate for the school environment due to its vast strangeness.

"I find you and Camila cute together," the smirk in his voice made Lauren roll her eyes again--but that time a lighthearted eye roll. "I hope you're not just trying to get in her pants or anything."

"What? No. I would never," Lauren--as if what he said was not so abrupt and completely inappropriate for him to say to a student of his workplace--responded accordingly.

Harry nodded, a smile making its way onto his lips, "Good. She seems a little too innocent for a baddie like you," his head turned slightly, expression thoughtful for his next statement, "but you two make it work, I presume."

Lauren couldn't help but smile as well. Although never admittedly, Lauren thought that her principal wasn't all that bad. "I'm not a baddie."

Harry let out a breath of laughter, "Whatever you say, Jauregui. Well, I'll be on my way. Got an important meeting to attend." He turned and walked away. But before too far out of Lauren's earshot, he yelled, "Camila definitely seems like a goodie though!"

It was only until later in that school day, that the upcoming holidays had been brought to Camila's attention.

"Your family is invited too, Walz."

Camila was thinking about Lauren when she finally registered Dinah's voice.

When Camila's eyes met gaze with Dinah's, Dinah instantly knew that she wasn't listening--she knew that Camila was thinking about something again. Dinah came to the conclusion that Camila is always thinking about a particular something. Because whatever was occupying Camila's mind so much, couldn't have been several somethings--no, it had to be a particular something.

"What're you always thinking about, Walz?" Dinah questioned, her head tilting slightly into an inquisitive expression. "Lately, you've been just...dazing off a lot."

Camila looked around the circle table. She noticed a smirk grow on both Normani's and Ally's lips, but their smirks fell almost quicker than they formed when Camila sent them a hard glare. It was always in that class, the class right before lunch, that Camila would learn something new about her three best friends. And that time, in the class right before lunch, Camila learned that Normani and Ally seemed to know something--something that made them smirk at the mere mention of her thinking.

"Well, all I said was that you and your family is invited to my family's Thanksgiving party this weekend," Dinah shrugged, "Mani, Smallz, and their families are going. I think it would be fun if you were there too. My family misses you."
