I am dead.

"Exlpain."

Not literally, but you get the picture.

"Leo, it's getting late,we should head back to our cabins...we can talk tomorrow."

I am SO dead.

"No Summer, we talk NOW."

The worst part is, we're on the beach, the exact place we met all those weeks ago, when we both addmitted that we liked each other.

Leo looks furious.

But confused.

"What do you remember?" I asked nervously.

"I remember a girl, Calypso. I remember, I think I loved her."

I was trembleing all over, curse Nemesis, Aphrodite, the whole lot of them!

"Leo, I can explain-"

"I remember the forest..." he hit his hand off his forehead, trying to remember.

"Leo! You'll hurt yourself, be sensible-"

I reached out to take his hand but he drew away.

"Don't touch me."

I felt part of me die.

He hated me.

He remembered.

Leo's eyes widened.

"You did this!" he is really furious now, "You made me forget!"

"Leo! I can exlpain, I swear - "

"And you made everyone else forget? Why!? How could you do this to me!? I thought YOU LOVED ME?!"

"I do!" I sobbed, "I do! That's why I did it! She was dangerous! You weren't yourself when you were with her."

"No," Leo said quietly, "I was a hundred times better when I was with her."

"Leo..." I sobbed.

But then I hear a distant roar, a golden glow suddenly erupts in the center of the forest, and up from that glow flys...

"Festus," Leo breathed, "I fixed him, I remember now..."

Festus began to fly towards us, his massive wings beating.

Leo started forward.

I grabbed his arm,

"Leo! What are you going to do?"

I am scared, I know what his answer is going to be.

Leo shook of my hand.

"What do you think I'm going to do?" he asked angerily, "I'm going to find Calypso."

Festus landed with a force like a hurricane at the edge of the sea.

Leo sprinted down the beech and vaulted onto his back.

"Leo!" I sobbed running after him but it was too late.

Festus launched himself into the sky.

I stood on the beach, tears streaming down my face and watched as the boy I loved flew away into the sunset.
