Looking back on last night, you couldn't believe you missed it at first.

Taehyung knew Jin from somewhere.

The way he talked, the way he tried to avoid coming in, how he recognized Jackie's name when you were on the phone; Jin was somehow related to Taehyung and vice versa.

But the real question now was: how?

As you laid now on your bed, you couldn't think of any relation between the two. During the time you spent with Taehyung, he hadn't mentioned a Jin or Jackie. And now that you think about it, Tae has failed to mention anything at all really.

For example, what was his family like? Did he even have a family? Did he have any siblings? Were his siblings good to him? Did he have a girlfriend? Has his heart been broken before?

You scowl at the last question, unable to even fathom a broken-hearted Taehyung. The man was the epitome of sunshine and rainbows.

Has he ever broken someone's heart?

Not yet, a snide voice added.

Shaking the thought away, you reach for your phone, deciding to put on some music while you got dressed for the day. Today was Saturday, and you planned on having the whole day to yourself. It was nice to have a little bit of "you time" every now and then. And after everything that's been going on, from regular school work to teaching Taehyung English to your work shifts in between, you could use a break.

Until you read a message from the man himself.

Tae: coming over in 20. Teach me new lesson!

And that was ten minutes ago.

Cursing, you glanced at the clock, it was only 8 in the morning. What on earth possessed Taehyung to visit you so early for another lesson? Didn't he want a break as well?

You hurriedly get up from your bed and open your drawer. Skimming your options, you decide to settle for a pastel yellow shirt that had a soft neck line. Throwing your PJ shirt over your head and somewhere in the room, you swiftly pulled the yellow clothing over yourself. You grabbed the deodorant sitting by your lamp and apply some to your underarms.

Opening up another drawer, you pull out a black pair of pants. Standing up, you put one leg after another through the pant holes and wiggle into them. As you zipped up, you head towards your full body mirror in your room.

There were wrinkles in your outfit that you would have to ignore, but other than that everything else looked fine. Besides the fact that, well, your hair looked like bird's nest that had been through hell and back.

But just as you were about to reach for your hairbrush, you hear the intercom.

"Miss L/N," the man said, "there's a Taehyung fellow who wants to come see you. Is that okay?"

Pressing the button by your door, you replied, "Yes, please let him up in five minutes."

Grabbing the brush again, you powered through the knots and ties in your hair. Settling on a certain level of knot-free, you exited your room and decided to prepare a bit of tea for the both of you.

You put two mugs of water in the microwave, and set the timer to two minutes. That's when your doorbell rang.

"Y/N! Let me in!"

That man never takes a break, does he?

"Coming!" You head over to the door, leaving the mugs behind. But when you opened the door, you came face with an empty hallway.
