Wow, it reminds me of Peeta. Every word. Maybe I should try to become friends with his again. My thoughts get inrupted by my Haymitch.
"Katniss dinner is ready." Haymitch isn't that bad. I mean he takes care of me and my mom and thats okay.
"Alright!" I yelled back. I walked downstairs and sat down next to Haymitch.
"How was school today sweetheart?" he asked taking a drink of water.
"Fine, had fun in art and after school we went to the beach." I said. We went to the beach alot in summer. We had small talk like this everynight. After dinner I took a shower and went to bed.
The Next Day
I had terrible nightmares all night so I'm really tired. I'm at my locker when somebody slams it shut.
"Hey Catnip." Gale says before giving me a hard kiss but I pushed him away.
"Gale please, you know that hurts me." I said backing away but he grabbed my arm making it hurt.
"I don't care about you're feelings. You'll do what I say." he said before punching me in the stomach. I fell to the ground in pain but I heard a voice yell at Gale. Before I could see who it was I blacked out.
Peeta POV
I was walking out of my classroom, thinking of Katniss. I still love her. I want her to be mine but Delly's in the way. I have to break up with her. I walk to her locker where she was waiting for me.
"Delly, we need to talk." I said. She gave me a confused look.
"This isn't working anymore. I'm really sorry." I said. A mad look crossed her face.
"This is about that Everdeen bitch, isn't it? I saw the way you looked at her yesturday," she yelled. I remembered that I couldn't stop looking at Katniss yesturday and Delly must have noticed.
"No, its not. Shes my friend and don't ever call her a bitch again." I yelled. I never yell but this was personal.
She stormed off but then I heard a scream. I ran around the couner and saw Katniss on the floor holding her stomach and Gale standing over her.
"Gale! Leave her alone!" I yelled running and tackling him to the ground. I got a good hit in that knocked him out. I got up and rushed over to Katniss.
"I'll get you to the nurse, don't worry." I said as I picked her up and carried her to the nurses office. This was gonna be a long day.
