A display of rainbow spectrum of colors flashed passed me, feeling as if I was falling from the sky with no intention of stopping. I opened my mouth to let out a scream but no sound emitted out. With emotions passing through me dramatically, everything stopped to a stand still, my heart racing as adrenaline pumped through my veins, eyes wide when the world around me finally materialized with the single motion of blinking my eyes. Voices of many made their way into my eardrums when I spawned in an alleyway, watching as people, no, players, walked pass. My eyes widened, seeing each individual calmly speaking to another as if, they were living? Like they weren't trapped inside a death game. I peered closer, wondering if I was just seeing NPCs only, I could see their health bars but nothing else, not even a name. What shocked me further was the fact of how detailed their faces were and physique, as if they weren't virtual or artificial. I heard a small ding, bringing my attention to my left where I stood at the crossways of two alleyways joining together, watching as a player opened a menu before scrolling through it. I observed their hand motions in the darkness before bringing my right hand up and mimicking the player's movements. A menu opened, I scrolled down, coming to a stop to see the place where 'LOG OUT' Was supposed to be, but it wasn't, this is what keeps us all in here, keeps us from leaving the virtual world. I went back up, going to storage to see I was equipped with the rookie equipment, scrolling down the items before coming to a stop when I saw a mirror in my storage. I tapped on it, the storage closing just as the object appeared in my hand. I furrowed my brows, peering down at it only to let out a small gasp.

I still looked the same, the process of making a character was absolutely useless. I look as I do in the real world. I looked around me, seeing many others with distinct features that couldn't be artificial. So, each and every single player trapped here looks just as they do in the real world... I couldn't help but crack a smile, Tsuboi's smile flashing pass through my vision. This would make it easier to find him, because while he goes by another name here (Because only an idiot would put their real name as your character's name), he will still look the same as I last saw him, 3 months ago if I remember correctly. Maybe, he would find me first before I find him. I studied my appearance, noting the system picked up my now short dark brown hair that reached midway down my neck. The reason why I cut it in the first place is because I was told that while I am still in a coma like state, my fingernails, hair, body, would still keep growing over time in the real world while my body here would stay the same as I entered this virtual world. I wonder if the board of directors know all the players look the same as they do in the real world? Unlikely. I took a deep breath, shaking my head before dropping the mirror to the ground, having no need for it. It shattered but I paid no mind to it, the sound being masked over by the voices around me. I ran out of the alleyway, gently passing through large crowds before coming to an abrupt stop when I almost ran into a pretty large man clad in heavy armor with a helmet upon his head, unable to see what he looked like underneath

"Oops... Sorry." I slightly jumped at how my voice sounded in this world, slightly more high-pitched than my regular voice. I'm gonna have to get used to that...

"Problem Miss? You seem lost."

"Oh- Uh yeah. I'm looking for somebody. I was wondering if you have seen anybody that looks like me except a man in his early twenties and about, this tall?" I asked him, using my hand to emphasize Tsuboi's height. He thought for a moment before shaking his head, "Sorry, any more details?"

"Oh uh... He has a weak stubble on his chin and sides of his face with brown hair more close to the color of red-"

"Stocked out like a Samurai?" I looked puzzle for a moment, thinking for a moment. Was he...? I don't know, I haven't seen him yet in this world, only in the real one. Then again... He did go through a phase of wanting every single thing pertaining to Samurais when he was little... I nodded, refocusing my attention back to the man
