I pushed some of my hair out of my face, peering close at my reflecting, biting down on my lower lip in thought.

Two weeks have passed. Three weeks it has been since I have entered this game. And still no progress of finding Tsuboi.

My heart weighed heavily down in my chest, dread filling my mind. What if, while I have been training to a level 24 has he been dead the whole time? I shook my head, standing back away from the full size mirror, 'No, he is still alive, he's got to be.' I sighed deeply, looking over at the window where the morning dew was showing, the artificial sun rays passing through the window pane. By now, it was around the end of January and the 24th Floor Boss has just been defeated from reports of the virtual newspaper that players have been making. I was leaving with Luis today, I was finally going past the 5Th Floor, I was finally becoming a member of Black Velvet. I knew Luis was currently waiting outside for me, slightly annoyed from how long I am currently taking but I can't help it, after all this may be the last time I would see Sasha and the children. With one last final deep breath, I left the room and walked down the steps, hearing the chatter of Sasha working on her cooking skill while the children patiently waited for their breakfast in the lounge. I entered the kitchen, grabbing a hold of a piece of toast out of Sasha's hand

"Hey!" She lightly smacked me with her hand on my shoulder, glaring at me softly like a mother, "The children eat first, you know this." I chuckled softly before gobbling up the piece of toast

"You forgot, didn't you?" I asked her while she began to cut up slices of meat elegantly, the system automatically cutting them up into bite sized pieces

"Forgot what? You having no manners?" She teased me with a giggle and I rolled my eyes, flicking the back of her head

"Maybe. But, no, wrong answer."

"Hmm... What is going on today..." She turned around while I leaned against the counter, crossing my arms across my chest. She studied my armor and Sapphire Beauty in all it's glory. She hummed softly, pondering for a moment

"Hunting today?"

"No."

"Fishing?"

"With a Pernarch? Not even possible."

"Training."

"Nope." I popped the 'p' in emphasize

"How about...-" She froze, eyes wide in realization. Her breath hitched at the back of her throat, her eyes behind her glasses holding worry

"You're leaving today with Luis...?" I nodded, pursing my lips at the quivering in her voice. She threw her arms tightly around me, burying her head into my shoulder from being shorter than me by a few inches, even when wearing heels. I wrapped my arms around her, returning the hug

"I can't believe you're leaving so soon... Time must have really snuck up on me." She laughed sadly, pulling away before bringing my face in between her hands

"Yeah, I even forgot about leaving today if it wasn't for Luis messaging me late last night." I told her with a shrug, softly smiling at her

"So I see... Well, will you be able to stay for breakfast?"

"Sadly no, Luis is literally irritated right now for making him wait outside of the house."

"Sounds like him. Well, I will stop making breakfast for now so you can say your goodbyes to the children."

"Not goodbyes."

"Why not?"

"I prefer, talk to you laters." I stated with a grin, my brown eyes glinting in the light. She nodded before we walked into the lounge, seeing the children playing with each other or discussing stories about Clearers from up above
