The Ball Begins-Chapter 9

It's been a while since I last updated, huh?

Let me just fix Rose's personality a bit in this chapter~ Ps. I Drew all the pictures except for the shoe xD

🌹Rose's Pov

Astoria, Joy and I had gone to Cinderella Castle.. also known as my castle, eeeheee~ I still can't get over the fact that I'm in a fairytale! *cough cough* Eheh, that aside, I had known about the ball for weeks now and I've been suuuper stoked for it so I got a TON of shoes, obviously~ and I got quite a few dresses for us to try on and after a while, we finally decided on these three:

Astoria

Joy

And Meee~

(forgive me for not drawing shoes, I suck at them so just have a pic of what the basic idea is xD)

Astoria's shoes

Only they are an orange-ish beige color like Astoria's sweater thing

(and now Imma just make Rose wear the classic "glass slippers" ...you know what that looks like xD)

30 Mins Later

Travis's POV (whoops, forgot about Travis and LingLing... awwwkwaaaaarrrrrd)

Gahh! I still haven't managed to ask LingLing to go with me to the ball...

"Hey um..." I heard a familiar angelic voice behind me, as I turned around, wide eyed

"Oh hi LingLing! I... Was wondering...." I began, feeling my heart rate increase Come on! Ask her, Travis, ask her!

"Do you want to be my... partner at the ball?" I said No, no, no, you want her to be my date! not just a partner, ughhh... failed again

"Like... your date?" LingLing said, looking a bit nervous

I paused "Yeah..." I said, lowering my voice lightly

"Yes!" she said, smiling

"Should we head over there now, then?" I asked, she nodded and we walked over to the ballroom, hoping to be a bit early

Hawk's POV

I arrived at the Cinderella castle, about to pick up Rose, I knocked on the door, Astoria Rapunzel answering

"Hey, are you here to pick up Rose?" she asked, appearing to look pleased and looking behind her and back at me, I nodded

"Rose~! Your prince charming is here!" Astoria shouted and I could hear high-pitched squeals in the distance

Rose's POV

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! SO NERVOUS. SO. EXCITED!!!! Phew, okay, I'm okay... Hawk is coming to the door to pick me up any moment now... I'm ready... I think... I have the best shoes for good luck and... Gahh so nervous...

"Rose~! Your prince charming is here!" Astoria shouted, I could suddenly feel my heart stop... and my breathing stop, basically... I felt dead abruptly Oh no, I'm not readyyy...

"One second!" I shouted, looking at the mirror one last time to make sure I looked okay Gah... why do I even care, they've all seen me looking like a mess! I chuckled lightly at the thought, realizing just how true it was Hold up a sec... did Astoria just call Hawk... My prince charming?!

I continued to panic more inside and walked out of my room to go down the stairs, and trying to get my mind off Hawk I just looked down at my dress swaying right and left as I took another step

"Hey Rose, ready to go?" I heard Hawk say, suddenly snapping out of my thoughts

"Yes, yes I am, let's go!" I responded, trying not to stammer and succeeding

Narrator Pov

Everyone started entering the ballroom early, many people were talking and everyone seemed excited about the event, Travis and LingLing were talking normally (Woot woot) everyone else in Astoria's team arrived and everyone got a bit excited since their team won the school competition...
