"Seriously, it just doesn't make sense. What are anvils anyways and why are they what America decided should be dropped on the heads of cartoon characters?" Lauren and Camila laughed as Colson spoke. They were sitting together right by the campfire. People were scattered everywhere, by the pool, by the tents, in hammocks. Camila leaned her head against Lauren's shoulder. It was no secret that things like this weren't her favorite atmosphere and she was pretty tired.

Lauren looked across the fire to see Shawn sitting on the other side with some girl. She attempted to wave but they boy simply looked away. "Shawn's here pretending like he can't see us." Lauren shook her head with a small laugh.

"Wait, Mila, are you and Shawn not talking?" Colson asked, surprised that the two best friend would ever fight.

"I don't know." Camila simply stated. Lauren gestured towards Shawn for him to come towards them and the by stood up and began walking their way.

"Well you're going to have to now." Lauren said, "He's coming this way. I think this should be good for the two of you." Camila sighed and waited as she heard footsteps approaching through the grass.

"What do you need?" Shawn asked, looking down at just Lauren.

"Sit down." Lauren forced a small smile and pointed to the ground in front of them.

"Why?" Shawn questioned.

"Just sit down. You're our friend, remember?" Lauren said. Shawn followed instructions and took a seat on the grass in front of them.

They sat in silence for about a minute before Colson spoke up. "Hey Laur, wanna go get some drinks? You're drinking tonight right?"

"Yeah, let's go." Lauren said, glad to leave the two alone so they could talk things out.

The two friends ignored each other at first but Camila suddenly let out a sigh. "I'm sorry."

"Sorry about what? Making Lauren call me over because you were too scared to?" Shawn raised a brow.

"No! I'm sorry for... well everything I guess." Camila sighed and shrugged.

"Well, start from the beginning." Shawn said quietly.

Camila sighed and unfolded her legs, turning to face Shawn directly. "I'm sorry I got mad at you when you didn't want me to kiss Zayn."

"Camila, I didn't want them to take advantage of you, I was saving you." Shawn replied, frustratedly.

"From what? My first kiss being someone other than you or Colson?" Camila questioned.

"They weren't going to kiss you Camila, Jesus." Shawn snapped.

Camila furrowed her brow and hesitated before speaking, "What do you mean?"

"Did Lauren not tell you?" Shawn asked quietly now, realizing yelling was no way to settle this.

"Shawn... what were they going to do?" Camila asked, confused.

Shawn looked around to make sure no one was around. "Mila, they were... They were going to do some pretty disturbing stuff to you."

"Like what? Tell me." Camila sighed.

"Look this is hard for me to say. Zayn had his pants down in front of you. Just his pants, nothing more, but he was going to make you kiss his... you know, junk." Shawn said, disgusted.

Camila didn't respond. Instead she bunched her legs up and wrapped her arms around them, resting her chin on top of her knees.

"I pulled you out of there as fast as I could. Camz, I'm sorry. I really thought Lauren had told you." Shawn said, bringing a hand to the girl's back and rubbing it comfortingly.
