We're Just Friends (Miku X Malereader)

Girl I used to know...

Thanks to Adam's advice, Y/N managed to regain his confidence again, but a side of him still misses Miku. Now, Y/N knows how to fight and play instruments, what else will he uncover?

As always, I'm in the band room cleaning up instruments, and helping other band kids practice. Ariel is practicing her flute, while three others were practicing for a trio part.

Y/N heard knocking on the door, he walked towards it and opened the large wooden reinforced door. It was Jake.

Jake
"Dude, I got some bad news!".

"What is it?".

Jake
"Miku's boyfriend wants to fight you right now!".

Everyone in the room heard, Ariel carefully ​placed her flute down, and ran towards Y/N.

Ariel
"A fight!?".

Jake
"He's super pissed about Saturday!".

"Where is he?".

Jake
"He's outside in the courtyard, everyone is there".

"Take me there".

Ariel grabbed Y/N's arm, she was baffled that Y/N is even considering fighting him.

Ariel
"Please don't, you'll get hurt!".

"Jake, help".

Jake
"Sorry Ariel...".

Ariel
"Jake what are you doing!".

Jake grabbed Ariel and pulled her away while Y/N decided to go by himself. The students around him watched in shock, the Bard is going to fight. He wouldn't be fully alone, Luka, and Rin will be watching from the sidelines.

As pushed through the doors, I could see the prick, he waited for me. Miku stood by...Worried.

Damien
"Took you long enough!".

"I'm busy right now, go back to your dam hole!".

Damien
"Come here you dog, fight me!".

"Make me".

Damien got close to Y/N and spat on his face. He then pulled a knife and slashed Y/N on the cheek.

Miku
"Wait Damien, what are you doing!?".

He then slashed Y/N on the arm and shanked him on the leg. Y/N fell to ground in pain. Everyone gasped and began to call out Damien.

Damien grabbed Y/N by the face, and stabbed downward. Luckily, a football hits the knife just in time.

Damien
"What the!?".

"Calvary has arrived".

The football team was there, all of them respected​ me. They don't take kindly for someone to pull a stunt on me, especially with weapons.

Damien was then cornered by lacrosse​ team, and baseball team. This bought Y/N enough time to strike.

He got up, and suplexed Damien to the ground. He then began to beat him down to pulp.

Miku
"Get off him!".

Miku ran punched Y/N in the face, causing him to fall down. Y/N looked up, Miku stood over him.

"Miku....Why!?".

Miku
"Get away from him you jerk!".

"Miku...💔".

She slapped Y/N in the face, however, Ariel ran outside and pushed Miku away. Several girls from the prep squad held Miku down.

Damien got up shambling, and barked at Y/N.

Damien
"Yeah you better run!".

A football player tackled Damien​to the ground, in which a mosh pit of players dog piled him.

"Good riddance prick!".

Mr. Armstrong
"Inside now!".

Y/N was taken to the hospital to get treated for his wounds, he suffered numerous lacerations, and is in need of stiches.

Y/N sat on the hospital bed, watching some reruns of old 90's TV shows. Paps and Mom barged in worried.

Mom
"My baby, are you okay?".

"I'm fine mom, just stings is all".

Paps
"You took beating kiddo!".

"So did Damien...".

Rin and Luka ran in, both of them also worried.

Rin
"Are you okay?!".

Luka
"Why did Miku do that!?".

Doctor
"My patient needs some rest, do you all mind waiting outside please".

Everyone went outside, giving Y/N some time rest and gather his thoughts.

"Miku, why...Did you hit me..".

"I was trying to defend myself, he was going to kill me...".

"What happened to the girl I once knew, the one where we would always hang out, I miss that girl, I miss you...".
