Chapter 10: What is happening...?!

Xenovia's P.O.V

Still can't believe im a reincarnation... to a god none the less... *sigh* too shamed to go to show my face in school... 

*RATTLES* 

h-huh? what was that... it sounded like it came from downstairs... "Whos there" i said lightly

"good night Lockheart" a voice said as everything blacked out.

Kaori's P.O.V

what could be happening? Its not like we know anyone thats against both our organizations... but mabye... mabye Lockheart will know of this, mabye she has an unsettled score... b-but why would Shiina be attacked too?

"OOOH I CAN'T THINK STRAIGHT IM SO WORRIED ABOUT THEM BOTH!" Minerva yelled pacing back and forth

"Midna... just calm down and sit... im sure they're fine." i said lightly

"HOW CAN YOU BE SO CALM ORI?! ITS SO MEAN YOU CAN BE SO CALM AND COLLECTED WHEN THIS TYPE OF THING HAPPENS!" i know she didn't mean to lash out on me like that but... i did feel guilty about that..

*sigh

"i-im sorry..." i said looking down

"n-no.. im just worried and i can't think straight! i didn't mean that..." she said heisitantly

"nah its true... don't feel bad." i said lightly

"err..." she said lightly... "w-well what do you think happened?"

"not sure... doesn't seem like it'd be a common enemy. wouldn't it be just a coincidence if anything?" i said trying to think

"a coincidence? here? in white city? i don't think so. people plan things out perfectly so theres absolutely no chance of getting caught. don't even think about coincidences.." she stopped and smiled "aren't those your first words to me?" 

When i met her she was terrible completely and thought everything wasn't on purpose such an innocent girl shouldn't be involved in judgement. when she told me she was a reincarnation and her "mother" died of a heart attack when a bounty hunter told her that wasn't her real daughter. and that her real daughter had died more then a month ago. 

"SHIINA" Midna jumped out of her chair and the chair tipped over 

"M-MIDNA" she ran and jumped on her "I-IM SO GLAD YOU GUYS CAME WHEN YOU DID... the doctor said if i had waited 3 more min without help it'd be impossible to save me..." 

"t-thats terrible!" Midna gasped lightly covering her mouth

"do you remember what happened?" i asked

"HOW C-.." Midna stopped... i stopped too...

"sorry. nvm" i said

"well... i was in my room thinking if i was too harsh on Xenovia... then a rattle came from the kitchen... and when i went downstairs i heard a voice say 'good night Tsuchiyo' and i blacked out... im sorry" she said apologizing

"no need. odd...same thing happened to Lockheart. the one who was hunting you." i said thinking

"h-huh? how do you know that?" she said suprised

"huh? the nurse told me... thought she woulda explained to you too." i said confused

"nope... she only told me this had happened to two people already.. isn't it confidential information that someone is in the hospital for a certain reason...?" she said suprised again

"er... i guess but she just asked me if i knew her. i didn't know it was gonna happen to her the same thing. thought Lockheart was being stubborn and went straight for you anyway." I said 

"w-wait... didn't you say you told her she was a reincarnation?" Midna asked

"erm... ye, but what would th-"

"THATS IT! SHE PROBABLY HAD A TRANSMITTER OR SOMETHING TO HEAR THE CONVERSATION!" Midna yelled

"but why would she have that...?" Shiina asked

"hmm Xenovia-senpai is pretty suspicious... mabye they saw a reincarnation in her and wanted to confirm..." she guessed 

"if what Midna said is true... there were actually two hunters on your quest Shiina... And one was Lockheart.. and the other is the one who attacked you... if the transmitter heard us talking... then they had found out Lockheart is Athena.. they sent someone to kill her. Since she hasn't made any friends yet and her parents are dead. So she lives alone, no one to save her..." i said 

"T-THATS TERRIBLE... SHE ALMOST DIED BECAUSE OF ME?!" Shiina asked

"we haven't heard if she died or not... i mean.. who would be there to bring her to the hospital?" i said regretingly

"b-but the nurse.." Shiina heisitated

"stop ori..." Midna cried

Just as i was about to say 'why?' we heard screams and gunshots from outside of the hospital. When i checked outside it was her. The Empress Hunter.. and her quest at the moment?... me... SHE DISSAPEARED?!

"Candelaria..." she smiled... and pointed a gun at me.

For the first time in years... i was scared. i could barely move or think straight... all i could think about is... i-is Shou... 

"THIS IS A HOSPITAL..." Shiina yelled 

"O-ORI!" Midna yelled as well

"S-SHOU! SAVE ME PLEASE" i cried "SHOU I NEED YOU!" 

Shou walked into the room and kicked the gun out of her hand, turned around wiped away my tears and said... "You called?"
