We got married on a quiet Sunday evening, the sun was setting ,
Painting the sky with hues of yellows, oranges, and pinks.

It looked like something you'd paint when you were the happiest you could ever be.

I wore a simple long white dress that flowed with the wind,

He wore a button down with slacks and flip flops.

It was nothing fancy,
Just me,
And him,
And the ocean,
And our love.

All that a girl could ever want.

In that moment I forgot about my impending death sentence, and a lonely Reggie.

In that moment I felt whole, and at peace, and truly fully amazingly happy.

I smiled the whole time that my cheeks were numb,
As I stared into his pretty eyes which looked lighter in this paradise.

His hands were rough yet smooth as they held mine, binding us together for infinity.

All I wanted was to kiss him and lay with him and hold him forever,
I never wanted to leave him.

"You may kiss the bride."

There was a delay as we just looked each other, realizing we actually just fucking got married.

As in till death (soon) do us part.

So I kissed my husband with as much love and gratitude for loving me back.

I kissed my husband like it would take away all the bad things that was happening,

I kissed Him like it was my last moment on earth.
~~~
Passion rolled off us,
As our bodies moved
Telling the story of our love.
He was gentle and sweet,
And said all the right things that would make me forget.
That is why I love him so much.
We became one,
As he stared deeply into my eyes and his hands interlaced with mine.
A tear slipped from my eye as he moved against me showing me how much he loved me.
His eyes were just like the first time we met,
Warm and cool like gooey chocolate and minty ice,
As the moonlight flooded in from the translucent curtains.
He looked like everything, and anything that made me happy.
Forever and always.
