"Okay..." Summer says with a small voice.
I try to bounce back after that outburst.
"Summer, you are a fantastic girl with an even better heart, but things are really messed up in my head right now and I don't want you to get hurt in the long run, I hope you understand," I say sincerely. She nodded with a small smile, and then the bell rang.
I ran to my locker to get my books for my next class.
"Things are just messed up in my head right now," I hear a mocking voice behind me, and I spin around and see Tomika.
"Haha, it worked, didn't it?" I say with a smirk.
"You almost cracked under the pressure," she said.
"No, I didn't," I looked around me, and I saw the halls were empty.
"Does my hair look good?" I ask, and she rolls her eyes, nodding.
"You look fine," she says them I walked closer to her and leaned.
"We are in public," she warns before my lips touched hers.
"Whatever," I peck her lips.
"See you at break," she says, walking away from me.
