SEPTEMBER Rafa told the Captain of the Cruise ship that we're getting off on the first ship dock because we are getting sea sick. After thirty minutes, Geena called back and told us she booked us at the Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, Amsterdam North Holland Province. Just a ten minutes ride from the dock.

Geena booked us adjacent rooms. But when we got to the hotel, Rafa wanted to see the rooms. He left me at the restaurant of the hotel. When he came back, he told me he changed the resservations to the suite room. He said that it has two rooms. He told me that the suite was not available when Geena booked us but the hotel was so accomodating to have given us the only available suite. I was thinking, he bullied the hotel to give in to his wishes. It happened before and I know he knows I know.
"Talaga lang ha?"
"Oo naman. Mukhang akala nila di ko kaya bayaran yung room."
"So tinakot mo?"
"Hindi. Kinausap ko yung may ari."
"That explains everything"
"Hehehe. Are you done eating? They are sending our luggage to our suite. I also ordered room service."
"Room service? Sana sinabi mo para di na ako kumain dito."
"Pwede naman mag ulit eh"
"Don't worry I'll eat again"
"Tama si Yaya.... matakaw ka nga!"
"Eh gutom ako eh!"
"Teka, di ba kita pinapakain sa bahay? Kulang ba?"
"Walang sweets eh. Gusto ko Macaroni"
"Sobra ka naman sa katakawan."
"Hahahaha"
"Tara na. Gusto ko magpahinga at matulog. Napagod ako sa barko eh."
"Kasalanan mo, cryise ba naman ang kinuha mong bakasyon. Isinama mo pa ako."
"Eh akala ko magugustuhan mo eh. Ayaw mo ba sumama sa akin?"
"Gusto naman kaso mas gusto pumunta sa New York, sa London, sa Paris...ganun!"
"Where's your sense of adventure? Ang ganda kaya ng Europe."
"Europe? Sa barko? Pwede naman tayong lumipad eh bakit kailangan pa ang barko. You know we hate ships"
"Hindi ko naisip. I wanted to give you a vacation. We never had one since our parents died."
"I know. But thank you again, kuya, for the car and this."

And he smiled that million dollar smile again. And if you only know how that smile could melt me searing hot....kaso kuya kita eh.
