Her Story: Patience was 18 years old when she went to the San Diego concert on the My World Tour and was chosen to be the first Black One Less Lonely Girl ever! At the concert, she was singing all the songs with her cousin. Then when she finally sat down and started eating some candy, Allison walked down her aisle and stared her down. Then she said, "You come with me." Patience's first thought was "what did I do?" Was she getting in trouble because she was texting during the concert, or was Allison just trying to kidnap her? Well, far from that! Allison said to her, "I promise it's not bad, Do you want to be Justin's One Less Lonely Girl?" Her other cousin screamed and told her to go!! Allison walked her backstage. While she waited, she met Jaden Smith and got a picture with him. He told her that she was the first black girl to be going out there on stage with Justin, so she should make sure she represented for them all!
The dancers explained what she was supposed to do when she got on stage, then it was time! Patience smiled so much and looked really happy to be up there, while Justin danced around her and sang to her (a little more than he usually did with other OLLGs, might I add). When she remembered what Jaden said to her, she started waving and dancing, having the time of her life. Justin hugged her and the best moment of her life was over. She wasn't all that crazy about Justin before that night- she always liked him and his music, she just thought he was a lot younger then he was. But it was a very cool experience that she will never forget and that a LOT of other girls won't forget either. It was all thanks to @ BlackOLLG for raising awareness on the lack of black OLLGs. Because of this, more girls were given hope that they were actually good enough to be picked. Patience was an inspiration to other black girls who dreamed of being OLLG, like her fellow Californian, Oakland's very own Zaria!
