Chapter 12 part 1

Mark's POV:
Ms Kim walked into the classroom.

She was going to tell us the schedule for this year. I was really excited.

"Hello, class! I'll be telling you about this year's schedule!"

We all cheered.

She started explaining the events.

Boring.

Finally, she stated the thing everybody wanted to hear.

The dance.

The dance was a event held once every two years. The last time there was a dance was two years ago so we were all sure there was going to be one this year.

"You must have a date if you want to join the dance! It would be in a few months, before the long holidays. Also, there would be a party in conjunction with our school's hundred anniversary! There would also be a dance!"

We all cheered.

Everyone's POV:

Mark: I didn't go to the dance two years ago and I really wanted to go. Should I ask Rosé? What if she already has a date.

Urghh.

So annoying.

Rosé: I wonder if Mark will ask me. Should I ask him instead?

The last time I was sick and was not able to go.

That was if I had a date at that time.

Which I didn't.

Jisoo: The dance? I'm probably not going. I don't even think I would accept anyone's offer.
I would rather sleep at home.

Lisa: BamBam's not gonna ask me. This is just making me sick.

Then I saw him looking at me.

Um.... ok.

Now I think I'm really sick.

Jaebum: Oh. I can't wait. But I don't know who to invite.

Jungkook: I want to ask Tzuyu. Should I? I think I'll go ask Yugyeom for help.

Chaeyoung: Don't remind me of the last dance. I'm still so mad.

Yugyeom: I looked at Chaeyoung. She seemed frustrated.

I get it.

She went with her ex (aka suga) the last time but they broke up.

This will make it harder for me to ask her.

Plus, I know Suga still likes her.

Jennie: Jaebum won't invite me. He never will. And I might as well stay at home with my friends this time again.

Honestly, I hope my friends can go. And if I can, it'll be a miracle.

Tzuyu: Ew.
This again?
I'm probably not going to go.

BamBam: I looked at Lisa. She must have felt me watching so she turned and look at me.

I blushed and looked away.

I think I won't have the courage to ask her.

This is just making me frustrated.

Sehun: ohhh. Cool. I'll find someone to go with.

Somehow.

Baekhyun: Why is there always a dance? Is it really necessary?

Taehyung: I already know who everyone will ask. I also know that Jungkook wants to ask Tzuyu. I want to ask her too. But Jungkook's my best friend. How can I do that?

Momo: ahh. I heard it's fun but I won't have a date.

Sigh.

Wendy: neh.... boring. I would rather stay at home.

Seolhyun: I'll find someone. Anyways, I'll always have my bro if I don't have a date.

Seulgi: If I did have a date, he would have to be able to dance. I smiled while thinking.

Mina: Really? Not again!

I'll stay at home with Tzuyu.

Since I'm almost 100% sure she won't be going.

Hoseok: Should I ask Momo. She is cute though.

Jinyoung: A dance? I never had it in my previous school. I'll go if I can find someone I like.

"Also, you would be able to sign up to perform on those days!" The teacher added.
