Deep Blue

Deep blue is the color I see

Whenever I think

Of you and me

Ocean vast,

A sea of sky

On me you cast

A magic lie

Starry nights

Moonlit land

You hold me tight

You take my hand

Heartfelt words

Take my ear

They warm me up,

They say I'm dear

But for all it's worth,

And for all I've felt,

You're but a beautiful lie,

As the blue of the sky itself.

So when I look back

And I want to cry

I just remember that you're the deep blue sea,

Creating a beautiful lie for me.
