I miss the days
when the summer sky
shined upon the beach
When the birds had sung
When the sky was blue
When he wasn't above my reach
Summer love
was all we had
A summer love
that drove me mad
He brought the sun
down to my lips
warmed my heart
and burned my skin
But now the winter
Steel and gray
Is all I see everyday.
If only he fell In love with me too,
We could've stayed together-
the perfect weather-
the summer that could've gone forever.
