TORYN HUMMED TO HERSELF as she washed the last red dish in the sink. For the past week all she could think about was her new boyfriend. The naked boy at Dupree's house. She hadn't gotten his name and she should've asked, but she knew it was her boyfriend. She couldn't wait to meet him again.

"You're first encounter went well with naked boy." Trouble said, sitting on the counter top. "I can't believe we saw him naked on the first day. We should have looked at his penis."

"No," Toryn said, turning her nose up. That would have been really slutty. She was glad she behaved like a lady. "I can't wait until our second date. He was such a gentlemen on our first." Toryn said, "I can't remember what happened exactly, but I remember he told me I was pretty."

Trouble raised an eyebrow, looking at Toryn's hands which were white and wrinkled from having it under the water so long. "Okay bitch, now you really sounding crazy. When did you guys go on a date? Was it in the goddamn hallway when he told your dumb ass to knock on the door before you enter. And pretty? When did he say that?"

"Stop calling me a bitch Trouble, you know I hate that word. And he did call me pretty. He didn't mention my glasses."

"So, that doesn't mean he thinks you're pretty. It just means he didn't mention your glasses." Trouble informed. She looked around the empty kitchen, "and you need to stop being so loud. You know your grandma nosey as hell. She gonna think your talking to yourself again."

Toryn agreed, she wished other people could see Trouble. Then they would see that she was not crazy. And she didn't need to be on medication. The medication which she hadn't taken for a week straight. For the past week she hadn't slept over at Takashi's house at all and they hadn't really talked or texted much. That was what caused her to get stressed and forget about her meds. And when she was stressed, that's when Trouble came around.

Toryn knew this and knew she should take her medication right away once Trouble came, because doctors told her Trouble wasn't "real" but she really needed someone to talk to. And she hated medication anyway. A lot of patients who suffered from severe schizophrenia never really independently took their medication; because a lot of them felt like nothing was wrong with them in the first place.

Toryn's seventy-seven year old grandmother Davina, peeked her head into the kitchen and saw Toryn in a t-shirt and some sweatpants, having a full blown conversation with the dish rack. Initially she didn't hear her talking to herself, she was sitting in the living room and realized the sink had been on for a long time. They had both been eating dinner and Toryn got up to wash her plate. That was over fifteen minutes ago, so Davina was surprised to see she was still washing the same one dish.

"Trouble...can I ask you something?"

"Yeah."

"What to do when that boy asks me out on a date?"
