IT WAS A BITTERSWEET MOMENT for Toryn as she sat in the back of the taxi. She couldn't believe she had just finished the last prom she would ever go too. From fifth, to eight grade and now twelfth. The night had been amazing and she had definitely had the time of her life.

Sitting in the backseat smelling as sweet as strawberries, even the taxi driver kept stealing glances at her from the overhead mirror. Toryn looked gorgeous in her neon orange Mac Duggal evening gown. From the top down to the waist of her dress was crystal studded. Then from the waist down the dress came in tight around her body but flowed out dramatically at her ankles in a mermaid style. Big diamond earrings sat in her ears to match the crystal studs on her dress and her hair was done in small curls that made her hair look full and healthy, falling down to the tip of her butt. Her silver open toed heels were only two inches because she was already tall so she didn't want to come off extra.

Looking back at her house as the taxi drove further and further away, Toryn felt bad that she was sneaking out to go see Samir. She knew it was selfish and technically made no sense when they were leaving New York tomorrow, but she still felt bad that it was prom night and she hadn't spent that day with her man. Even though prom had been amazing, due to a gang related incident last year that almost got someone stabbed the school had only kept prom from seven to ten o' clock. Most people had other things planned after prom anyway so nobody really hosted any after prom parties; because of that Takashi and Toryn went straight home.

However, at prom, the music had been so loud that Takashi's head started to kill him by time they were making their way back home. It was so bad he had to pop two extra strength Tylenols. The bad thing was Laura always had massive migraines and he had finished the last two pills. So because he knew his mom would come home and blow through the roof he asked Toryn to at least let him sleep for two hours and then wake him up. She would be leaving the next day so he at least wanted to pull an all nighter with her.

As soon as Takashi fell asleep though, Toryn had took the opportunity to flee the house to go and see Samir. She wouldn't be out late though, she'd be back in two hours to wake Takashi up. She just wanted to spend some time with Samir since it technically was a special day even if she was still going to see him tomorrow.

The car was silent as Toryn reminisced on her night. Takashi had been very sweet to her. Everyone kept complimenting them on how good they looked and boys that never even blinked at her in school were staring all night. The music was good, the food was good and mostly everyone had looked nice. Of course there was some he said she said drama but Toryn stayed out of it, just staying by Takashi's side most of the night.

The best part of the night is when they won prom King and Queen. They even had to do a special slow dance that was just for them while everyone else had to crowd around and watch. Toryn remembered being so nervous that she kept her head buried in Takashi's shoulder the whole time. Takashi had been nervous too because his palms had been cold and clammy, he just held his composure better than her. Toryn giggled at the memory, causing the taxi driver to peek at her.
