Hearthstone Ships It!!!!

Alex Fierro's POV

I was about to relax and make some pottery, you know, what I normally do, but someone started pounding on my door. There could only be two reasons why someone is pounding on the door, either Magnus has a spider in his room, or someone is in trouble. I laugh slightly, remembering when Magnus asked me to kill the spider in his Valhalla suite for him. He looked so terrified, all I said to him is your literally a demi-god, and that thing in 1/100 your size. 

"Who is it?" I yell at the door, too lazy to get up from where I am perched on my chair. 

"It's Magnus and there is some serious stuff going down in Midgard right now!" He shouts quickly, nervously, like everything he says about battles.

I groan and walk to the door. I open it and see a scared looking Magnus in front of me. His hair golden as always, his stature, perfect. ALEX FIERRO STOP OBSESSING OVER HIM!!!!! Anyway, he looks timid and panicked (and cute).

"What's wrong this time?" I ask.

"There is a huge half-human, half-wolf terrorizing Midgard! I need you to come with me to see with Blitzen and Hearthstone are alright," He says.

"Why should I come? There your friends," I say to try to rile him up.

"Because if they die and go to Helheim, I will never get to see them again, they helped me survive on the streets of Boston, they helped me live!" He shouts at me, clearly angry.

I smirk slightly and say, "Fine, but only if you give me two red gold".

He sighs loudly and reaches into his pockets and pulls out three red gold, "Take it all, don't complain, and help me, and them, please!"

Magnus Chase's POV

So we go to Midgard and get dragged into Blitzen's Best by none other then Blitzen himself. He seems to be in a hurry, urgent, and once we are inside, he locks the doors. Hearthstone is sitting at the table they have set up as their "dining room" and doesn't notice us come in because he is reading the book Odin gave him. Blitzen gestures for us to follow him to the table and we all sit down. Blitzen, looking at urgent as possible, pokes Hearthstone and then points at us. He looks up from his book and at us. He waves his hand at us and I wave back. Alex looks a little uneasy, nervous even, but tries to keep her brave "I am better than all of you" face on. Hearthstone looks nervous now as he nudges Blitzen, trying to get him to speak for him because Alex still can't read sign language.

"Okay two things, first of all, the monster terrorizing Midgard knows who he's looking for and I am sorry to say it's you, Magnus," Blitzen says.

I blurt out, "What the heck would it want to do with me?"

"I was getting there," Blitzen says as I notice Hearthstone staring at him oddly, "He wants to find and destroy Magnus because of who it's mother and father are, his mother is Loki and his father is the big bad wolf, Fenris, because Loki really hates you, Magnus".

"Oh my gods, another child of Loki for him to control, and plus ew, Fenris is his offspring as well," Alex says in disgust while shaking her head, "What was he even thinking?!"

"He was thinking of making something to destroy me, get me scared, hence why it's part wolf," I say solemnly.

"And according to Heimdall, he is more powerful than any demi-god should be," Blitzen blurts out.

"Great! I'm dead again!" I say sarcastically and look at Hearthstone.

As Blitzen begins to talk battle strategy, Hearthstone signs to me. He signs, you might die M, you need to tell Alex how you feel about her before you can't anymore. I sign back to him, to not raise any suspicion from Alex, I don't like her like that. Hearthstone signs back with a smug grin on his face, you look at her like she is a goddess. He's catching on!!! Um, help, reader please help me! I can't let him find out, even if he can't tell Alex his self, he will tell Blitzen! I sign back as calmly as I can, I don't like her like that, I told you this before. Then with his smug little cute face Hearthstone signs back, yeah you don't like her, you love her. Now Blitzen sees Hearthstone signing love to me and looks back and forth at the both of us with a questioning face. It makes it funnier when you think about how smug Hearthstone looked while signing it. I bite my lip to keep from bursting out into laughter. 

Alex clearly looks confused and asks, "What just happened? What did Hearth sign?"

"Nothing," I say and try to act like I am not trying to laugh.

I look at Blitzen and see a hint of hurt in his eyes as he goes into a battle of signing words back and forth with Hearthstone. Alex looks at me, her eyes burning into my mind. I am not longer about to laugh but scared what she is going to say. Scared she will find out I like her and then decapitate me for it. 

"You know I have been taking lessons on ASL from some guys on our floor at Valhalla," She says and her face now shows a smug smirk.

My face instantly goes red and I say, "So you saw everything?"

"Yeah......" She says and turns away from me to look at the rows of clothing dominating the store. 

She almost sounded sad when she said it. Sad about what? Sad to me not liking her the same way even though I do? Sad about what?

"So what's your opinion on the subject," I say stupidly.

"I hate it," She says and stands up, then walks away towards the front of the store.

I don't even give a thought about Hearth and Blitz as I run after her. I messed up big time. I am such a big idiot, I don't deserve her. She runs away from me and down the street, down the alleyways, and towards the duck statue. She's probably here so she can go run away back to Valhalla. No matter what she does, I am going after her. So I chase her into Valhalla and towards her room. I stop her before she can go inside her room and grab her by her shoulders. She tries to throw me off of her, to squirm away, and I do the only thing I could think of at the time. I kiss her, deeply, passionately, and then I start to pull away but she doesn't let me. She pulls me closer to her and we kiss, and man does it feels good. I don't even know if I am doing it right, I've never had any experience with kissing before. I hope I am, I really do.
