Magnus Chase Oneshots!

The Valhalla Games! (Part Two!) (Warning: Cursing) (Hint: Read Until The End).

(I am going to curse in this chapter because after reading a lot of fanfiction from Alex's POV I totally think she would curse. So yeah, I'm going to curse and crap. I don't know if I even have readers that care if I curse or not, but if you don't like it please comment and let me know so I can make a version without cursing!)

Alex Fierro's POV

I stopped trying to help Maggie (Magnus) after three minutes of his depressing rant about how we'll never see him again if he gets the deity of bad luck. It's not that I didn't care, I actually care a lot. It's just that I didn't want to miss the nonbinary person being picked. I was put into this group, even though I insisted that I was genderfluid, not nonbinary. They (Those stupid Ravens) countered that they were the same things and then left. So now I am on the edge of my seat waiting for them to announce it. Everyone is crowded around Magnus, so much so that I have to scooch all the way against the side of the couch to watch the TV. Maggie had his hands over his face while everyone was talking to him at once. I wanted to yell at them to be quieter so I can hear the TV, but subtitles were on anyway because of Hearthstone. 

Then Odin boomed on screen, "Now on to our nonbinary people here in my wonderful Valhalla!"

Everyone shut up real quick and looked at the screen with anticipation. Even Maggie was looking at the screen. All of their faces showed concern, concern for me. These people are as close to a real family then I have ever had. 

"The chosen person is Alex Fierro from floor nineteen!" Odin booms.

Shit. Shhhhhiiiiiiiiiittttttt. Well, this is just great. Aboustlely fucking great. Yay. Now everyone is looking from me to Maggie, and then back to me. Samirah has her "I am coming up with an amazing plan" face on as she looks at us. She then turns to whisper to Blitz, who tells Hearth, then Samirah whispers something to Mallborn (My ship name for Mallory and Halfborn). Halfborn then whispers something to T.J. who then justs get up and leave. Magnus doesn't notice any of this happening because he is back to giving up. He has his hands over his face once again and I roll my eyes. Something is definitely going on here. Samirah wouldn't not-so-secretly whisper to everyone if it wasn't for a reason. 

"I need to go pack my bags for vacation," Mallory says and grabs Halfborn to come with her, "Good luck, we'll say goodbye to you in the morning".

Sam punches her in the arm, "It's not like they are dying for real!"

Mallory just glares at her and walks away with her boyfriend. Now it's just Sam, Maggie, Blitzstone (My ship name for Hearth and Blitz, don't judge all the ships), and me. It was quiet in the room except for the TV. Hearth pokes Maggie which makes Maggie take his hands away from his face to look at him. Hearth signs something (I don't know sign language yet) and then hugs Magnus. They are lucky, they can hug him because they are like family. If I hugged him right now everyone would accuse me of having a crush on him. I mean I do have a crush on him and all, but I don't want anyone knowing. It's because he's a sunshine boy, a golden child, who can heal and make everything better. Me, I'm just a no good son of a bitch who I doubt Maggie would ever fall in love with. I know what your thinking, come on Alex, don't be so hard on yourself! Well shut the fuck up, because when I was a child I had to be hard on myself just to survive! I just never got used to not being hard on myself, so every moment, and every day, I strive to survive. Blitz then hugs Magnus, then together Blitz and Hearth walk out of the room. Sam is gone and I don't remember her leaving, so now it's just Maggie and me. He sighs and looks at me.

"Do you want to team up? We have a better chance of winning if there is two of us," He says.

"What happened to the guy who thought he was going to lose and never see his friends again?" I say and he laughs slightly.
