Chapter Ten

I woke up.

Tired

Groggy

Bags under my FUCKEN eyes.

I tried not to think about him, which inevitably made me think about him for all of yesterday (which was mostly spent doing nothing. Staying in bed asleep)

I found some optimal clothes for my current emotional state. Threw my hair into a really bummy style (Is bummy a word....?) and left my house.

"HEY, YOU FEEL ANY BETTER? NOT THAT I CARE THAT MUCH ANYWAY BUT, YKNOW. JUST FOR MY WELL BEING. COUGH..."

"Erm...Yeah I'm fine" I lied.

Not good at the whole lies thing.

"DUDE I KNOW YOURE NOT OKAY. JUST GET IN MY CAR AND LETS GO TO SCHOOL, KAY?"

I nodded my head as we both got in his car.

He began to drive, I sat in silence.

"YOU KNOW, DOES IT EVEN REALLY COUNT AS CHEATING? I MEAN YOU WEREN'T EVEN DATING FIRSTLY, SECOND, HE WAS DRUNK. HE LIKELY CANT EVEN REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED"

"Yeah and that kinda makes it worse. Especially because who's gonna have to fill him in?"

"NOT YOU, YOU PROBABLY WONT EVEN LOOK AT HIM ALL DAY KNOWING YOU."

"Does it even fucking matter?" I said.

I got out once we reached the school, shoving my hands in my pockets.

My nose was bitten by the cold wind whipping against my face.

Shivers ran down my entire body, I zipped up my hoodie and walked a little faster into the school, all of this not even realizing Karkat was talking to me

I tuned in "–AND HE WAS LIKE, 'hey so maybe we can go somewhere after school today?' AND I WAS LIKE 'PSHHH WHATEVER DUDE' TRYING TO ACT ALL COOL LIKE HIM AND STUFF AND SO THAT'S BASICALLY HOW IT HAPPENED. CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE HE CALLED ME FIRST!"

"Wow, good job. So y'all dating or..?"

"WELL THIS WILL BE THE FIRST ONE SO AFTER TODAY YES"

"Cooool" I said still trying to pretend like I seriously care.

"OH FUCK, I FORGOT. YEAH I WONT BE ABLE TO TAKE YOU HOME TODAY THEN. YOU OKAY WITH CLEANING UP TODAY?"

"Sure–"

")(OW IS EVERYFIN GOING GUYS?" I heard someone say from behind me. Eaugh, high pitched voice.

I turned around and saw The Feferi Peixes.

"It's (y/n) and it was more than eventful thank you."

She grinned almost sadistically, god what a creep. And people say she's 'cute' what the hell?

M-E AND SOLLUX SUR-E DID ;)"

"I bet so" I mumbled before walking away to continue my already terribubbly day.

Karkat ran behind me and grabbed my shoulder

"HEY DONT LISTEN TO HER OKAY, SHES JUST A SPOILED BRAT."

I miserably trudged around all day so far, avoiding any eye contact with Sollux.

Karkat also left me again, I'm proud of him. At least he has a chance at love, me? I just wanna fucken kms okay?

I have to clean the classroom.

I found that the teachers computer wasn't working well earlier as well, I took a seat in their chair behind their desk and began my work.

It was a fairly simple system error, just needed a reboot.

I closed the laptop only to be found face to face with Captor himself.
