We walked out the front door and I followed Javiare to a room, it was room 69 but one of the numbers broke and fell so it read 66. I could also see that someone faintly wrote another 6 at the end but I ignored it as javiare opened the door. We stepped inside to see a full bed and two bed side tables one on each side, there also was an arm chair with a desk. The musky smell invited my nose and I coughed, Javiare sighed "that little pervert tricked us" he said setting down his duffle bag and the keys down on the desk. "You can sleep on the bed, ill sleep on the arm chair, ok?" He asked

I set my clothes down on the dresser against the wall opposite to the bed, my head whipped over to him, "no way, its fine I don't need the bed. Your the one who paied for the room" I said getting the pajamas I picked out

"I'm not taking no for an answer" he said picking up his pajamas, "ill change in the bathroom, let me know when your done in here" he told me

I watched him walk over to the bathroom and close the door, sighing I changed into my pajamas. "You can come out now" I told him crumpleing my dirty clothes into a ball and placing them on the dresser

He walked out with a long pair of pajama pants and a large t-shirt, I watched him as he walked over to the arm chair and desk and shoved his clothes into his duffle bag. He ploughed into the chair and leaned his head back, my heart sped up, "that's not fair, just sleep on the other side with me" I said

He looked up surprised, I had my hand on my elbow and I looked away once I had said it. Why is my heart beating so fast, im not scared, Javiare would never do anything to hurt me. I looked back and saw Javiare sit up, "if your in comfortable you can let me know an I can go sleep in the van" he said

I shook my head, "no, I just feel bad. I just think you should sleep in the bed too" I told him my voice getting quieter

Where did my confidence go? Why was my body acting this way? Was I nervous? "Ok, but the second you feel weird let me know and I get up" he said standing

I took a deep breath, "ok" I told him while gettk g in the bed on the other side

I leaned over and turned off the light, my back facing Javiare and his to mine. I pulled the pillow down and the covers over my shoulders, time to sleep, I told myself. Calming my heart down I closed my eyes and drifted off...

Javiare

I woke up, and noticed I had moved in my sleep, I leaned my head up and saw that sophia was curled up next to me. Her hand tightly gripped onto my shirt, I tensed at first but then calmed after I realized she was still asleep. I felt my arm around her and lifted it immediately, I shouldn't do this. How did this even happen? I asked myself. All I remember is falling asleep last night our backs to each other, but now were facing each other and she is curled up onto me. In not complaining, but just mostly questioning. An idea then pooed into my head that Daniella from before did say something about putting us together. I shook away the idea, and slowly turned to get up, I felt her grip on my shirt tighten as I started to sit up. I sighed, grabbing the pillow I slept on, I slid it into my place as I got up. Only getting away I looked back and saw her pull the pillow close to her chest. I quickly looked away, and walked over to my duffle bag grabbing clothes and heading into the bathroom. I slipped on the clothes and stepped out, shoveling the pajamas into the bag I walked over to Sophia. Something inside me was telling me not to wake her. But we have to get back on the road to get there on time, I looked in my bag and found a blanket I brought for the car if she got cold or something.

I pulled it out and replaced the sheets with the blanket, then I picked her up keeping slow so she wouldn't wake up. Grabbing my bag and throwing her clothes in it, I walked out of the motel room. As I passed by the front entrance, I saw Dainella the front desk lady looking at me. She gave me a thumbs up, and then winked as she took another puf of her cigarette. I shook my head and placed Sophia gently into the passenger seat, keeping her wrapped up in the blanket. I shut the door, thankful she didn't wake up I ran around to the other side and got in the drivers seat. Throwing the duffle bag into the back, I leaned over and buckled her in, slipping the crows body belt behind her so she wouldn't get any red marks on her neck. I then buckled myself in and started pulling out of the motel...
